Big win by the 'View I thinki it is the first time district 13 has won the region championship. GREAT JOB> Covington is a tuff team to beat and if you can walk away with a win it is a great job. Wow it must be tuff for T. Joy (Covington) to pitch a no hitter and still lose the ballgame. Westview just got the breaks they need. I think Covington only had two hits and both where from T. Joy. Great pitching battle!!!! Westview will represent this district and region well. If the bats come alive they could make some noise in the Sectionals (Which they are picked to win) and state Tourney. This is a real good team and just goes to prove how good the district 13aa (Wild Wild West) is. Convington fans no need to be down they will go deep in the state tourney they will beat the Memphis team they play. Just hope both teams take care of substate and not let anything crazy happen! Would be great if the teams from District 13aa come out to the softball field and support Westview in the game against Carver.....Hey Chipsmom can you give us a time and date on the sectional game held in Martin? Milan and Westview will lock up today. Should be a good game. It will be hard for Milan to beat the 'View 2 times. Districts tourny are almost over. Man how time flies. Regionanls start next week. Looks like Obion Co. put on a great tourney. Coach V (Obion) and staff did a great job!!!

Good point!! One thing you would have to look at is all the talent Coach Suiter has. Gibson did not have anything close to that kind of talent. Is Suiter a great Coach.....No doubt. Just don't know if he deserve coach of the year.

Wow!! What happen in the Ripley/Haywood game? I figured Ripley would win this one? I would agree this is a tough district. The top 3 Covington, Ripley and Haywood are all great great teams. just a shame only two can move on. Covington will make noise deep into the state tourny!!!

Heard this one was tight till about the 5th inning then the 'View unloaded on Gib. Co.....Should be a good game between Gibson and Milan. Who ever wins will get the 'View and I don't know if thats a good thing the 'View seems to have it going now. I just don't think they will loose twice in the championship game. Well this district tourny has lived up to everything we thought it would be. Tough and down to the wire. The 'View are now for sure in the drivers seat. They beat Gibson by 10 runs in the 6 inning shut out and that means in order for someone to knock the 'View off they will have to beat them twice. Don't think that will happen.....As for Milan and Gibson that will be a great match up. I think Gibson will find just enough hits to pull this off but the reward will be Westview again...... Hum..... /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Gibson did not have any good luck with the 'View but the 4th time could be the charm for Gibson. Just don't see them putting the 'View down TWICE for the championship. Coach Henson has done a great job with his Gibson Co. team. Once again coach of the year in this distrcit no questions asked. As we wind down just take a look back and remember "what a season". And just think the fun will just be starting for the teams that make it to the Regional games. Good luck to all!!!!!

Oh my....Never seen the Dyesburg over Obion coming. Obion was my dark horse to win this district. What happen in this one? The 'View and Gibson hook up today should be a great game.
