It was awsome to see the Lady Devils finally come out swinging for blood. Keep up the good job girls we may just have a shot at it.

Freshman Kara Woods pitched a 2 hitter, 1 walk 9 K's to take the victory for Unicoi 1-0. Outstanding Job, Outstanding Game on both teams behalf. This is the money games you pay to see. You can't take anything from either Teams just a Great competitive game.

No feathers ruffled here or maybe your just a mind reader also, Im posting this because I e-mailed them when my daughter was on the 8th grade team not at the present , and I really do care about your team There still kids and I have some very good relations with a few of them. So dont even dig at my character. Thank you.

No nose bent out of shape, just e-mail TSSAA and ask. Your so knowledgable. I did, thats why I printed this. Not to stir up hate and discontent.

I have always called my daughters pitches through out her young career, and in travel ball. I was in contact with the TSSAA and asked them via e-mail, about a parent calling pitches in H.S. play. They e-mailed me back and stated that if I wasn't on the coaching roster that NO I could not call her pitches it had to be the players or coaching staff only. I really cant see what difference it makes other than if you know how to read batters and sometimes we even mess up, but we learn from our mistake where a kid may not remember. There is a H.S. team out there in our confrence that has alot to loose if they get reported to the TSSAA, and I really wouldn't want to see that happen. You know who you are. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> Your right on the money SS13, the ladies needed this because they had been mowing the other teams down, not being ugly, just for some unknown reason Unicoi has always had pretty strong ball players with out the biggest population to choose from. I guess we can thank the Little League and other active travel ball parents for this support and feeder program. Going back to the other post up top of this, Coach 17 I believe it was, even though the pitcher gets the wins/losses, if you were at the game, the cyclones didn't beat mason, an unfortunate error accured that allowed the runner to score, as well as the umpire making a horoble call on the foul ball at third, when he called it fair, but this is not the first time he's helped the cyclones, I seen it before this year at the JV tournament in unicoi 2 times there with the same call except on the first base line. A lil fishy I think. These are the games you pay to see though, and I think it was a brilliant game on both sides.
