  1. I have enjoyed reading MrNoitAll's comments. It did hurt at first because he ALWAYS picked our team as the loser, but he was correct each time. MrNoitAll's comments and postings kept me coming back to CoachT. I think at times he was a bit cruel in his comments, but I do believe this was a type of "sense of humor" he was using to keep things lively. I did find myself looking around at each game we went to and wondering if he was there and if he was one of our umps. I did get brave enough to even ask an umpire one time. I have not been involved in high school softball long enough to know who this John is that people are talking about and I think it is terrible if someone put his name on here identifying him as MrNoitAll if they were not 100% sure. I think it is up to MrNoitAll to reveal his own identity when he gets ready. Like I said, I am new to high school softball and Coacht, but visiting CoachT and reading MrNoitAll's comments along with all of the other postings has made this year a lot more interesting and informative. I looked forward to reading these comments each day. Now on a negative side, I will say that what really has bothered me are the parents that get on here and air their teams dirty laundry or criticize other teams/players. To me, that hurts the girls more than anything MrNoitAll has ever said. As adults we need to remember these are our daughters teams, not ours. We are just spectators and please remember how very blessed we are to have healthy daughters able to compete in this game we love so much. I sure hope MrNoitAll will continue what he has been doing. It has been fun.
  2. I always enjoy reading your postings. Even though I live in Wilson County, I like to keep up with how ya'll are doing. I have a sister that lives in Normandy. I always thought it would be neat to live in the area and have my kids go to Cascade, it seems like a great school. How old is your daughter and what position does she play. Have you figured out who MrNoItAll is? He seems to know you or a lot of the people you know.
  3. She is an awesome hitter. Where did she attend middle school? She is the catcher, right?
  4. On our Lebanon team we have 3 Freshmen now starting on Varsity and the three of them are awesome and have a very bright future. However, in the teams we have faced, the one freshman player that stands out to me is #11 on Blackman's team. I don't know her name, but she is a very good hitter. At least I think this girl is a freshman.
  5. Mallory Mason has some tendon problems in her shoulder. She is now playing first base and doing a great job on offense and defense.
  6. Anna did pitch a good game, but she was backed up by some awesome defense. Freshman centerfielder Malika Anderson, who has just started playing varsity did a great job. Sophomore Jessica Lingnau, who normally plays catcher, made some fabulous catches in right field. Freshman Tori Brewington made a double play at shortstop and in a different inning stood in at second base attempting to make a double play throw to first when she was hit head on by a Blackman player advancing to second. By Tori not giving up on this play, Lebanon was awarded an interference called out against Blackman. It takes 9 players giving their all to make a team successful and Lebanon did this last night. However, we do need to get more back to back hits /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="
  7. You are correct in your rule interpretation and thanks for explaining it so clearly. However, I think all that these people are saying is that it is sad that in such a close game that meant so much, Lebanon did not get the chance to fight it out to the end. Realizing that is the way it works out sometimes, it still hurts. You may not realize how far Lebanon has come this season, but in previous games vs Blackman the scores were 15-5, 5-1 and then 1-0. The weather conditions were obviously out of the control of everyone involved, it was just rotten luck on Lebanon's part that the bad weather came in when it did.
  8. Without a doubt, Lebanon has improved from the beginning of the season. I am sure they have experienced the growing pains of any young team. They have overcome the loss of their junior pitcher earlier in the season, and have relyed on their sophomore and freshman pitcher who have not seen many varsity level games. These two girls (15yrs old & 14 years old) have done a remarkable job standing out there and facing some very tough batters. They started out going out there struggling inning after inning and not giving up, they have both grown emotionally and mentally as the season has progressed. I can say for the whole team and coaches, they have not given up. Some girls have been playing positions they have never played before and now they have adjusted and are coming together as a team. I think it is awesome and shows the true spirit of the game. Lebanon was looking for an upset last night and it is VERY SAD that they will not get to finish that game. I give credit to Blackman (an amazing team). They held Lebanon when they needed to and got hits when they needed to, but it will go down in the books as a loss for Lebanon, but in the hearts of the Lebanon players and fans it will go down as a game never finished and what could have been an upset. We will never know, but again this is an opportunity for these girls to learn and grow.
  9. Oakland vs. Lebanon is a game that should not bring any surprises to the field today. Lebanon is very young and Oakland is trying to get hot before district tournaments starts. Well if you want to get a winning streak started Lebanon is a very good team to start with, Uncle Exlax??™s crystal ball does not see any kind of upset today. Loser is Lebanon So, MrNoitAll, did you happen to drop by the Oakland vs Lebanon game? I am always on the lookout for someone I don't know attending our games. I am always suspicious of anyone in our stands that does not "belong" to one of our players, and I think to myself, "Is that MrNoitAll?" Anyway, it was a very good game and Oakland had a very impressive Senior Night Ceremony. Final score: Oakland 4 - Lebanon 3 -- so you were right again!
  10. So, MrNoitAll, are you going to be calling any games tonight? And I mean calling balls and strikes, etc. If so, give us a hint. Maybe I 've got it all wrong.
  11. What about Wilson Central vs. Hendersonville and Lebanon vs. White County? Too close to call?
  12. Hey, what about Wilson Central??? They are in Wilson County too! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  13. Hey, I look forward to your predictions each game day. I know you have kind of been hard on "our" team, but most of what you say is the truth. The truth hurts sometimes, but if people don't like what you say then they don't need to read your postings/predictions. I will keep reading your predictions each game day, and hopefully we will be chosen the "winners" some day soon.
  14. Actually, I was trying to let you know that Lebanon was improving. I was making a point from a post you made earlier about "what has happened to Lebanon?" and making a reference to all of their errors and cold bats. The girls are young and working hard. I just thought maybe as much as you love softball, you would enjoy hearing about a struggling team that was making improvements. I don't care as much about the score or the loss, I just care that a group of girls is working hard and trying to get better. Let's just hope they keep it up! As a matter of fact, let's hope that all of the teams continue to improve. That's what competition is all about, getting better and playing your best game. By the way, I really do enjoy reading your posts and predictions. Keep it up, it is making things very interesting and I enjoy learning things about other teams. Thanks for your time and effort.
  15. They did get some games in Friday night, but then had to call the games for the night because of lightning and then rain. They pushed the rest of the Friday night pool play games to Saturday am and then played out the tournament. Saturday's weather was sunny, warm and very windy.
  16. Are you for real!? That is amazing! How blessed Ooltewah is to have such a deep bench. Those girls are awesome! No wonder they are always ranked so high. They have a VERY bright future!
  17. Somebody said that the pitcher was a sophomore. It was a good game!
  18. Lebanon vs. Ooltewah I am sure there is a very good reason why these two teams are playing I just do not know what they are today! Loser Lebanon Actually, Lebanon almost beat Ooltewah. The game was rained out Friday night and played Saturday morning. The final score was 3-2. Lebanon was leading through most of the game, but Ooltewah came back in the last inning. Lebanon looked like a different team in the Gibbs tournament. Lebanon vs. Boyd Buchanan 0-2, Lebanon vs. Ooltewah 2-3, Lebanon vs. Knox Karns 6-4, Lebanon vs. Powell High School 3-4. All were very close and competitive games. The pitching was consistent by the Sophomore and Freshman pitchers, the defense played as a team with few errors, and the bats were good. The junior catcher hit a game winning walk-off 3 run homer vs. Karns.[/i]
  19. I hate to disagree with you, but Lebanon still does have a girls fastpitch league, Lebanon Girl's Softball Association has girls teams competing each summer ages 5/6 years - 18 years. The thing that probably hurts Lebanon is they do not have strong "travel teams" playing out of the area. Most girls that play travel ball have to go to other towns to join a competitive travel team, and these girls are few and far between.
  20. Way to go #7! You set 'em straight. Lebanon is rebuilding and working hard.
  21. Lebanon did lose 6 seniors from last year. This year Lebanon has only 1 senior. I believe this is a rebuilding year for Lebanon.
  22. So, MrNoitAll if you were at the Siegel/Lebanon game do the letters "FH" mean anything to you? We thought you were a scout.
