Maybe its time for new coaching staff

He wasnt at game heard he was not on team anymore, havent heard details ss 2 errors in bottom of 7th killed us

sad ending to what should have been a state appearance

actually cookeville can only hit 1-7 ss tubbs and catcher only batting around 100 in district play. tubbs is fast and will ocasionally try to sneak a bunt down. catcher cant hit either. on defense weakness is same as offense , ss and catcher. pitching solid coaching weak, has the players to beat anybody just dont know how to use them.

No its just my cavalier pride coming thru which is why it sickens me when I see our lineup is not the best available, if you say its daddy ball just look at the ss and you will see its daddyball from coaching staff.at least 3 better gloves and sticks setting on the bench.

Riverdale man not dissing any of cookevilles opponents, I know they are quality players all I am saying is we are not giving ourself the best shot of winning more games by not having the best 9 on the field despite our coaches lack of knowing what to do in most situations

These boys have played competitive ball since 9, great talent but we are playing only the 7 best. Its not his coaching ability that got us there, we got there inspite of him

ss is fast but doesnt put the ball in play much. batting around 100 against district opponents. catcher has even lower batting avg. again the sad part better gloves and sticks on the bench

We would gladly trade coaches, I dont know what you consider a great coach but it sure isnt the baseball coach He has the talent but no clue

No I just know the guys on this team have played and competed at a high level and with that being said, we have a better lineup available right there on the bench but our coach chooses to play a shortstop making and avg of 2 errors per game and batting less than 100avg in the game and I am not sure if the catcher is up to an 80 avg. So we just scratch our head and wonder what is going on. Because a couple seniors should be full time starters and the have to sit and watch an inferior infield at work when we know they have a solid one right there.and dont get me wrong i know coaches work a lot and are away from there families, but for crying out loud dont play a kid when you have a stud on the bench that can and will do a much better job

when please tell me when we are going to but the best 9 on the field and at the plate. It would be oh so nice

Well I see the coach was just playing with us last week on changes in our cavs lineup. I would hate to be a pitcher now on this team not knowing if my catcher or ss was going to make a play. Its sad when you have a better team line up to use. Look I know your going to say we are tied for first in the district but we should be undefeated in district play. we have the talent to go deep but not the way it is being used

If you are having a problem with your coach, we have a hitting coach that we would love to let you to send your way

Knew it was too good to be true, but your right that is what tubbs should be used for. How about the catching situation. Kid behind the plate seems to be too slow and not a good blocker, decent arm but still would love to see us with reeder there. Talking about being strong up the middle

Dang wish I would have stayed and watched the game instead of going to Little Rock, But lets see what happens the rest of the week. Its a weak schedule, sorry sparta and crossville, I bet he puts them back in to see if they can get there pathetic batting avg up and hope they dont make to many errors in the field. Putting Akers at short was a good move, but probaly wont last. Let me knowrest of week wont be back in town til late saturday

This proves my point we have the right catcher behind the plate and siegel doesnt win and if you look at it that way siegel is just one bad inning away from being undefeated in district play

not daddy ball graduated a few yrs ago and hate to see the best players not on the field. but as a pioneer you probaly wouldnt know them
