IHS did beat Ravenwood twice. Franklin beat Centennial last night. This was the last regular season game in the district. IHS hosts Centennial on Thursday, Brentwood hosts Ravenwood.

What did McMillan do to be suspended? He is the one player in the district that is a mismatch for all teams. His attitude can get in the way, but it's unfortunate such a dynamic player will not get to compete.

It's nice if you enjoy playing "Rollerball" instead of Basketball. Out-of-Bounds is when you slam into a wall. Players on the bench have to keep their feet under their seats or they will trip players on the court. Yeah, it is a little tight. That's why the game is played between the lines.

Franklin fans get awfully quiet when they get beat.

Summertown has the best high school setting. Sure it's an old facility, but the floor is kept so clean you could eat off it. The fans pack the gym for both the girls and boys games. It has the true "Hoosiers" feel. I wish we played there every year.

Centennial 0-10 Ravenwood vs. Brentwood and Franklin vs. Independence on 2/12. Even if Brentwood beats Ravenwood, Ravenwood has clinched the regular season title. Brentwood cannot improve it's seeding because it lost both games against Hillsboro. Independence can improve it's seeding by beating Franklin. An IHS win would give them a sweep of the season series over Franklin.

Franklin beats Ravenwood by 10, handing Ravenwood their first district loss. Ravenwood is still the top seed for the district tournament.

Hillsboro beats Centennial by double digits. Ravenwood beats Independence by one.

IMO of each team. Ravenwood has the best starting 5, but not much depth. Should they get in foul trouble or have an injury they could struggle. Hillsboro has the most depth but are inexperienced except for Harrison and Holt. They lost both the games Harrison was suspended. They have good post play but are weak at the guard spots. They have no true point guard. Independence is a Jeckyl and Hyde team. Will the team that beat Franklin and lost to Hillsboro by 2 show up, or will you get the team that gets blown out by Brentwood and Ravenwood. You just never know. Brentwood has the most talented player in Kerstetter but are young and inexperienced everywhere else. They have lost their point guard for the year, who was replacing their starter from last year. Their coach will always have them prepared and makes good adjustments during the game. Franklin's talent level is down and they have a rookie coach. Shelton is a good scoring guard, but the teams overall ball handling is lacking. Centennial has not won a game this year, no need to expound.

This district is pretty balanced. Hillsboro and Ravenwood look to be the top 2 teams, but any team not named Centennial, can win on any given night. How do you think it will shake out?
