Houston Oldham- MBA
JJ Greer- CBHS
Devin Character- CBHS
Graham Williams- BGA
Taylor Harrison-JP2
Alex Hutchins- Knox Webb
Matthew Forrester-Father Ryan
just to name a few....
i agree with those i would also put into consideration..
John Rohling and Kyle Stoney- Father Ryan
Jared Eisenhower-Knox Webb
Tyler Tinker and Will Maddox- JP2
Paul Banks and Andre *Smith?- CBHS
From BGA i would put Jackson Ryden over Graham Williams
Keepers i would say Matt Warrick from Father Ryan or CBHS's Keeper

anyone have scores from the public school finals today?
-
half of the division II threads have become arguements between bga and father ryan people haha
-
christian brothers only goals in the past two state finals against father ryan have been own goals. last year to tie the game and this year as the only goal.
-
they redo the seeding after the sub state games so it depends on the jp2 mus game that resumes tuesday before tssaa decides the seeding
-
father ryan beat mba 2-0 to advance to state as last seed.
-
JPII is going to dominate BGA. I expect around a 3-0 or 3-1 win for JPII
-
JP2 beat BA in penalty kicks. They play MBA in the semi finals now.
-
Father Ryan killed Bga in regular season so they came in too cocky. Bga played probably better than their capability and took it to Ryan. Ryan also had John Rohling and another key starter out with injuries.

The deal for Williamson County teams is that if the county shuts school down due to the swine flu, the top two seeded teams (Ravenwood and Brentwood) get the two bids to the state tournament if the district tournament is stopped before the championship game is played, even if either of the top two seeded teams have lost prior to that in the quarter or semi finals.
I'm not sure if the other districts have adopted this.
Does anyone know anything about the situation for the D2 Middle Region because MBA is no longer allowed to play their semifinal game for the Middle region on Tuesday...?

nope nick pollard, jack purcell, and an own goal.

If homeschool kids want to participate in high school sports, then they need to enroll in that high school. It is hypocritical for a homeschool parent to make the choice to homeschool their child and then complain that their child can't participate in athletics and events organized for kids to represent that high school that they go to.

father ryan 1 hendersonville 0

No its no lie that Jame's size is much more suited for the college game, but Jordan makes better game-time decisions and therefore is always in a better position and makes very little mistakes ever. Jordan is a better keeper hence why he is going to Memphis and James is going to ETSU.
I would like to see Leedle step in the state championship and do as well as JP from father ryan did.. blocking two pk's and making one himself... doubt leedle could do that.. JP also shows drastically more composure and leadership in the goal

TOP 10 RANKINGS
#1) FARRAGUT
#2) HOUSTON
#3) HENDERSONVILLE
#4) CHRISTIAN BROTHERS
#5) CAK
#6) BEARDEN
#7) KNOXVILLE CATHOLIC
#8) BRENTWOOD
#9) BAYLOR
#10) FATHER RYAN
this is ridiculous.. father ryan beat baylor 3-0.. they gave JP2 their first loss who were 7th in the nation and who beat christian brothers 3-0 and who beat farrugut.. father ryan also tied hendersonville in one of their first games of the season.. brentwood and father ryan are by far # 1 and #2
-
will maddox recieved a soft red.. he only sat out the first 15 minutes or so against father ryan and played the whole game against mccallie.. he is their best player
-
I think that Father Ryan and Christian Brothers are the teams to beat. Father Ryan is coming off a 2-1 overtime win against JP2 in the Middle District Finals and a 3-0 win over Baylor in the Middle/East Region Championship.
And Christian Brothers is a strong team that has dominated the West all year.
I think that the winner of the JP2/Christian Brothers game will meet Father Ryan in the State Championship. JP2 beat CBHS in the regular season 3-0 so they will be looking to avenge that loss.
