I haven't noticed anything in the TSSAA handbook that says it is only recruiting if money is involved, but I wouldn't be surprised in the least if there were money involved with some of their kids.
Good loser/take the loss as a winner, is that like the East coach telling the his players not to shake hands with Stratford last year after they blew the game? Lots of people talking about that one! Didn't they have to come back out 10 minutes later and shake hands? That's taking the loss like a winner! lol!
A few years ago the TSSAA said the same thing about Gallatin football. They ruled player eligible based on information provided to them by the school. After further investigation, they ruled the player in eligible and Gallatin had to forfeit most of their games.
I have heard there have been other issues with them this year. Is this a leadership problem or do they just not have any self control? I'm just curious. On the outside it looks like a good school but man what a lot of issues!
Who IS hiring at Cane Ridge? I thought there was a rumor that the current principal was leaving. If she does the hiring wouldn't that be awkward for both the new principal and new coach? Is Reese going to be the new principal? That school seems somewhat disfunctional.
The metro website had a deadline for each school that has passed and now there is a new one for both schools. Did no one apply? And why did it come outin the paper that both schools were open after the first deadlines? Is that why it was reopened? Strange doins at these two schools.
I would have thought there would have been more openings by now. Funny, East Lit coaches only last two years a pop. From the paper, it didn't sound like Wilson got along with anyone in the administration. Spears left on his own, didn't he?
