jgarrison, looks like your not a coach??? Team discipline is much more important than wins. Yes, the twins and 1 other sat because of missing practice. It goes a little deeper, but that's all you need to know. I know most people on here likes gossip so I will not go into details.
Once again you are jumping to conclusions.
I said if they "missed practice". I knew it had to be something else.
And yes I have coached before and our AAU (16 under Div 2) team came in 2nd in the state one year and 5th in the state the other.
-
I vote we have it at Walter State, they have a nice place.
-
To put this in English. You really like your team.
Who do they play for? I haven't heard of them.
-
The twins are the driving force with that team. They are going to give you 20+ points a game in offense and defense.
I would think that if they missed practice they would still dress out. Besides if you miss practice you normally don't sit out a game. You might not get to start, but come on if a good coach wants to win he will make his point and put the best players on the floor to win.
Without the twins they would do good to be a 500 team. District 2AA has a lot of talent this year and without those twins playing they are done for the season.

A good Baller doesn't pay attention to the crowd and doesn't react according. my daughter says it doesn't effect her either way. She has only heard the crowd one time in the District Tournament last year playing South Greene and an Old Man that sits at floor level was calling them Bi_ ches. If it's not the young ones causing problems it's the Old

One thing I have notice is that in 2AA there is no dominate team this year. I believe the team that controls the turnovers and lets the game come to them instead of forcing it usually wins. It seems to me that when a team finds that rythme they are the winners.
trying to make it come to them sometimes doesn't work. We all have seen our teams get in that groove that they flow like water. Most of their shots are just as smooth as butter and in return the team starts to play on a different level.
Now thats Basketball thumb

I notice that OS is not on the list either. Must be something wrong
-
Where have all the South Greene supporters gone?
-
In our district we have some small gyms.
GP
we all have small gyms as far as seating goes.
-
Region is at Unicoi Co.
Do they have a nice gym?
-
Dewyse was heading for one, but was taken out before he could throw it down. The big kahuna had a real good swat at a ball early in the first, good think the wall was there or that thing would have been on Mount Laconte before it had stop.
-
I will go with the home teams on this one.
South Greene over Chuckey Doak (close game)
Cumberland Gap over GP
Union over Pigeon Forge

Any given night in 2AA could bring an upset.
-
Darn,can they even beat Coalfield?
(?) sorry don't get it.
I saw in the paper that Davis only had 1 point. (WOW) Was she off on her shot or was defense that good on her?
-
Does anybody have the final score? Who won, Who lost?
-
Districts are always at Morristown, I think the Regional is in Elizabethton (not sure)
-
Allen D was making some 3's for Pigeon Forge. I think when the Big guy for CG starts playing his size they will be better. I think #20 the other tall post is a better player and works harder. I saw more from him than the "big kahuna"
-
They got to have one off night.
Webb has a big Post player that is getting better every game.
-
Well right now there are certain teams that are dominating their district so far.
In AA I know that a few teams are doing well.
Pigeon Forge 10-0 Region 1 district 2
OS is undefeated Region 2 district 4
AE is undefeated Region 2 district 3
Elizabethton is back on top of their game Region 1 district 1
I think Walker Valley might be undefeated in their district as well.
There is a lot of talent in East Tenn AA this year.

Playhard, I have to agree with gloryseeker that Cumberland Gap and south Greene are the two teams to beat. I'm not sure how you could see it otherwise. It appears that you are trying to deflect attention from your Rebels. They were the preseason favorite and still should be considered one of the two frontrunners. Chuckey is playing extremely well right now and could slip into the picture. Rutledge is in a slump and they are quickly fading from the picture with each road game. As for tonights games: I pick Cumberland Gap in a close one at Pigeon, South Greene by 10 at Claiborne, G-P by 10 over Rutledge and Chuckey Doak by as many as they want over WG.
I would have lost a ton of money tonight if I was a betting man. Major upsets with CG and SG losing.
