  1. OK, I get it, please just stay away from the keyboard....back away....I am as excited as you but just let the girls take care of it....PLEASE!!!!!!!
  2. This rumor does stem from the Under Armour game and in the beginning there were 2 states and softball entities that in there infinite wisdom and moral character deemed any player participating in this event ineligible for high school ball, TSSAA being one. The father of this player went to TSSAA questioning a rule that would not only limit the exposure of player but the recognition that the state would recieve for producing a player capable of participating in such an event limiting the possibility for future players from this state/area to capitalize and possibly be selected in the future. It is my understanding that TSSAA couldn't argue with this logic and lifted the iron thumb not only allowing this player to participate in this event which created many oppertunities with college coaches, but also allowed two baseball players from Farragut to participate in the Under Armour Baseball event. The rest is history, not sure what it did for the baseball players, but this event sealed the deal for Criket signing with the University of Gerogia!!!! Way to go kid!
  3. There is obviously enough red down there to go around without our unis...we will prob just wear black
  4. What's up Doc....good to see you on here not blowing your horn. Yeah you are right, we will just roll over for you guys. Too bad one of us has to miss the dance, and one of us does. Be seein ya.
  5. The praise will be more deserved when you figure out a way to get it right...the intentions are good but we know where intentions get us...so pardon me for only respecting your intentions....this post has only been edited for the best interest of a kid.
  6. Dont count FURY94 out. They have picked up a few good palyers this off season also. Who in their right mind ever counted out the 94 Fury? They only picked up one pitcher in the off season, and lost one to injury.
  7. Mamm I have forked over way more cash than I care to admit, I respect every girl that plays. We don't pitch cause I value my sanity. It is not any girls fault that the T$$AA put us at a serious disadvantage by restructuring us in a district that has terrible pitching and then we will have to go to the region and play the Soddy Beeches (that is funny ) of the state when the T$$AA has given the advantage to them by keeping them where they are going to see decent pitching all season. We will deal with it even when we are facing sub 50 all over the place stuff good players adjust.
  8. To the so called LOSERS IN THE MID-STATE, keep rockin! Softball is not all about being the best at some schools. At some schools, playing softball is fun and the girls actually learn things about themselves and about life. Softball is a game of passion and not about how many wins you have. Softball is about the memories you make with the people you play with. Cheers to the TRUE winners in the Mid-State who actually view the game of softball as Fun and Exciting! Don't let people like this IDIOT get you down, because he is the true LOSER of the YEAR!! Will the "so called Losers" that fit in better with the Upwardbasketroller ball or whatever that guy called it, please find another sport, or at least don't let your kids pitch. Please go play soccor or upwards whatever cause your horrible pitching is killing our kids and we have to play teams later that really intend to win. So if you are just looking for memories go hit the ball with your feet and put the bats down.
  9. Bryanna Blanco came through and had a great season despite the broken finger and made all state so this one came through
  10. Apparently everybody that is not playing for Riverdale!
  11. YOU HEARD THAT ??? Dang dude! you are a speciman yourself, I just saw chalk and dust flyin and didn't hear a thing, I was told she broke the sound barrier. I just thought my kid was fast what ever !!!
  12. You are correct, I didn't mean for it to sound like it did after a review. But I wrote it so I will own it. I apologize to the coach, team, supporters, and readers, we have all been hit at one time or another. I do hope the coach is alright, his job working with kids is not easy and sometimes thankless. I assumed, and we know what that gets us but no excuse, he had already recovered. If not I truly hope he has a speedy return. I will not apologize for the "horn tootin" I know what the kid puts into the game, and she is a quality kid on top of that. Everyone will hear more from her.
  13. And then...she played in the Knoxville tournament last weekend against Lebanon, siegel, Gibbs, and St. Bennedict. She went 7 for 9 with a sac and an intentional walk, two BOMBS, two doubles, 6 RBIs, and 4 runs scored. Thats an .875 average for the tournament. Not too bad for a Freshman.
  14. Here is a nobrainer, we were just waiting for her to get her break, it came early and she delivered. Bryanna "Cricket" Blanco from Maryville. She plays Aball for the Fury 14U where she hit almost .600 Started her home opener at short and hit the game winner in the 9th for a 1-0 win. She then went 3-3 with 2 bags, 2 RBIs, and 2 runs scored in her next game making Aubrey's Restaurant player of the week. She will have high school pitchers cringing for a while.
  15. At least us folks in Coffee Co. can make our tough decisions, hit a moving target, and we know how to skin a cat! Our girls can too! Well be seeing you on March 31st /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  16. It is true, I wouldn't have known anything about it if I hadn't been struck by a tradgedy of such epic proportions myself. On March 1st my family and I woke up to a majestic winter land scape, serene, tranquil, God's beauty personally put on his canvas there for us to enjoy. And then we heard the first awful crys of desperation. Louder and louder they became. And then we saw it with our own eyes. Our 4 cats running...running...crashing...running and crashing, they were blind. The snow, it must be the snow! My wife looked to me, question and dispair in her eyes, what to do? I felt helpless....think...think! What to do? Who could I call? What government agency could possibly help? The economy in such a shape as it is, how could we ever do anything in time to help out Buttons, Sox, Snuggies, and Bobcat? My decision was made simplified by irresponible people, Walmart parking lot, and an endless supply of free kittens. I knew what I had to do! I had tears in my eyes as I loaded my gun and sent the wife and kids to the back of the house, being a man, ignoring their tears was heart wrenching, but a man has to do what a man has to do! The economy, if it weren't for the economy we could have saved them. I did manage to create our own little stimulus package I received $5 for each pelt...We are beginning the Bobcat Foundation (since he was my favorite) Snow Goggles for cats!
