  1. I can assure you Ram Fan. no smack talk is coming from people actually inside the program. maybe some gung ho fans are thinking this will be a blowout, but not the players/coaches. i for one think this will be a great game and look forward to watching it. i believe it could come down to the fourth quarter. Ram Fan, best of luck to ya

Yes, should be a good game...I'm ready for kickoff! Good luck to you, Warriors011...

  2. It has been waaaay too long. No just went to camp for a week and did not play the local ones like in the past. Some re-grouping is in order. When it is all said and done I believe Grace will compete for the district even though they lost a ton.

I don't understand why it has taken so long...Not playing during the Summer much will no doubt hurt the team..

Any names at all being mentioned???

  3. People who are not use to winning are funny.... Who would bring up a region championship this past season when you got ran over in playoffs come on. Start a winning tradition like back to back region champs and a trip to Murfreesboro with a little hardware in that trophy case. Then you can get on here and tell us how good you are. Come on Grace realize you are getting better sports programs but are not in that elite level yet in any sports. By the way Grace is always going to have Clinton kids, Oak Ridge kids, Karns kids etc. They have no zone they will get whomever wants to come so lay off all the transfers these kids wanted to go somewhere they could play and I dont blame them who wants to watch from the sidelines?

If any of these transfers would be on the sidelines, then there must have been something really wrong with the program/coaches...all of them have gotten college football offers...sidelines? I don't think so..

Yes, they did lose in the playoffs, but at least they got there and won the Region....a lot didn't get that far. Nobody said anything about being elite...yet... /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

  4. ok well i have been reading this long enough....this is cameron pridemore and i am tired of hearing people bad mouth my dad and my family about a situation that they know nothing about...everything that you have heard about this situation is from someone else and you have found out nothing for yourself...its real easy to sit behind a computer and badmouth a GREAT man that you have never met yourself...with this last post you have gotten completely off the original subject and began to attack someone out of dislike...think what you want about the whole eligibilty thing that is over and done with it is time to move on...but its time to grow up when you sit on here and talk bad about someone you have never spoken to, that takes things to a whole new level...you talk about antics, the only thing you can take from "antics" is that he cares about this game more than anyone i have ever met and wants every single player that plays for him to reach their highest potential and he puts more time into that than any other person i have ever met, and that is for EVERY player....so all i ask is that you please stop bad mouthing my father on this thread and if you are going to post on here then to please post about the original subject.

Good job Cameron...Like I've said in these posts...your Dad is a great man and coach, as well as your family who I have come to know and love. In my opinion, your Dad should be the head coach now. I'd love to see his wisdom, expertise and love for the game passed on to the kids at Grace. Me and my family are thankful that we had the very fortunate opportunity to see and know what your Dad possesses. A love for the kids, the game of basketball and most importantly, the love for our Lord, Jesus Christ...!!!

  5. That's one of the reasons i pulled for Grace Christan last season, because of those kids.....i wanted to see them have a great year!

Thank you...that's very classy...These boys also pulled for the Dragons...they are still good friends with a lot of the guys there...no need in anybody saying negative things about any player..

  6. Losing Williams at Christmas would have devastated Grace if not for plugging in the illegal transfer. That is a fact. Grace would not have made it past Oneida if not for the transfer. The other reason is that Lamb was to mean to a highly connected player that quit the last week of the season. Do not hurt the wrong kids feelings at a private school in Knoxville unless you wear cowboy boots. lol

Hurt a players feelings?? This is High School...you have to let that roll off your back and go on...all coaches are pretty hard on players..all sports included...

  7. Man you are so off base on this one. His family did live here just too far from the school. And I would think twice before you call a Man names that you know nothing about. Have you ever met him or even spoke to him. It just shows your true person when you attempt to slander a person you know nothing about. He is a fine Man and has done nothing to deserve your unfounded and hateful comments.

You are right RunAndGun...he is a Great Man with a wonderful family and has done nothing wrong. Not to mention, he is a great coach...knows the game inside and out!

The coach hurt a players feelings? It's High School basketball...stink it up! I'm sure all coaches do that numerous times during the year..

Don't hurt a players feelings? It's high school basketball....stink it up!

  10. My opinion (and most everyone else including the ones that matter, TSSAA) they are not region champs!! They played a player that shouldn't have been playing...PERIOD! They had an unfair advantage and that is cheating. It is also unfair to the players that were eligible on that team, they did work hard and deserve everything they got, but we will never know what that would have been on their OWN!!

I feel bad for all the players and teams they played that did it the right way and got burned!!!!!!! Intentionally or unintentionally, it effected a large group and they deserved a better attention to detail!!!

One player does not make a team...it wasn't like that player that was ineligible was the star of the team or anything..there were other players just as good. I agree that it was unfair for this player to come straight in and take the place of other players that had been there from the beginning and just as good. That was wrong. But, it is NOT the players faults..

  11. Grace was Region Champs in a region that was way to weak last year(like to see where Grace would've finished in Region 2), and then getting it handed to ya in the second round by a Region Runner-Up in a much tougher region. An going far into the playoffs is not making it to the second round nor is it making it to the quarterfinals to a certain degree(all depends on opponents played to get there).

I know this is a AC thread, sorry bout gettin off bases.

Woulda, coulda, shoulda...we were still Region Champs..and well deserved...

  12. It was a mistake and that was not the only reason for the change. And once again he was not a friend nor did he play for him in Florida. This boys brother in law came up to watch Grace play over the last few years because he had known the pridemore family there, and as a result of some things that happened in Florida he told the family about Grace so they moved here because they had family that lived in Greene county and they came and lived with them and that residence was more than 20 miles from the school. I didnt want to go into so much detail but too much is being said that just is not true

Just my opinion, but those boys are still Region Champs no matter what title the TSSAA takes from them.....They played hard and deserved to win and go on to the State Tourney...TSSAA can't take away their team effort, dedication and hard work!

  13. Dude...Nobody is knocking 1A. The point is 1A IS NOT 2-3A. No, I think you are dreaming when you say Oneida could have beat Clinton...easily. Blame it on what you want with the Clinton kids leaving....Shattuck, recruited, (Oh, my bad...) I mean "talked into", etc. The fact still remains the kids left Clinton and "FOLLOWED" McKamey to Grace. Think of it this way....you're taking good (and I mean good) talent from Clinton (4A-larger school, larger talent pool)moving them down to 1A( smaller school, smaller talent pool). 1A is a whole different ballgame than 4A. Different speed, different pace. And please don't anyone be insulted by the observation just made comparing 1A to 4A. If you know football, you know what I mean. No disrespect meant to anyone. McKamey has not coached anywhere long enough to know how good a coach he really is. Sometimes when a coach is blessed with exceptional talent, well.....they don't have to coach. The players make him look good.

McKamey is a good coach and with Lambert, Oneida would have beat Clinton for sure last year..may be a smaller school, but the players are just as good..

  14. What he did at Grace was to take the kids from Clinton that got tired of sitting behind Stone and Hazelhurst and had them join him in a school in a lower classification. Was that a true test of his "coaching ability"? Probably not. That was after his one year stint at AC and he was not invited back. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

McKamey didn't TAKE kids from Clinton, they left because of Shattuck..and don't knock 1A...Onieda was 1A and they could beat Clinton easily last year...give McKamey some credit for being a good coach, that's why kids followed him to Grace and they went on to become Region Champs and went far into the playoffs...

  15. the mess this coach left behind the scenes is what other coaches are afraid to deal with.the word is they may have to forfiet all of last seasons games.i know runandgun will not agree but this was not just a mistake on a form it was deliberate, same as the wannamaker issue that never was investgated but is being reviewed now,he lived with the pastors son not his parents, the kid from fla played for pridemore in fla, theirs more to this that will come out shortly.

    NONE of this is true...
