  1. Well im ready for the 1st Humboldt vs. Lake Co. game this year should be good. Humboldt has 4 players 6'4 and taller...and we run the court extremley well. Idk Lake Co. but i hear their better than UC this year???
  2. Last i heard about Taylor is that he was talking to Murry State im sure others to but idk. and how tall is Russ Avery?
  3. Who's the best player from 14a?? I'm not sure yet;but the top teams are 1.Humboldt 2.Union City 3.Lake Co. Your thoughts????
  4. Okay so i watched Humboldt practice the other day,and they just scrimaged each other, 1st team vs. 2nd team, and this was the starting line up. Starters Point Gaurd-Charles Taylor 6'6 (can take it to the front off the rim and dunk on you) Wing-Rashad Wade 6'0 (best 3 point shooter we've ever had.) Wing-Tevin Crayton 6'6 (lean mean scoring machine) Forward-Darren Dunbar 6'4 (nice lefty stroke) Forward-Jarvis Porter 6'3 (nice moves in the paint) Bench Wing-Quan Campbell 5'11 (quick, and can jump outta the gym) Point Gaurd-Quenton Jennings 6'1 (nice ball skills, with good deffense) Wing-Rodney Nance 6'2 (project)
  5. Yes,Quan is a superb athlete and could dunk ever since the 7th grade when he was about 5'5, he's really probly more like 5'8 5'9 now, boykin needs to give him playing time and experice in some games bc he usually doesnt play underclassmen. But Quan could definitely develop into an outstanding ball player. GO VIKINGS!
  6. This year, humboldt will be a force to be recond with. By far the best team of this decade. From what i here, Taylor will be ball handleing and he's about 6'6. Crayton's even taller at about 6'7,with a great shot,it depends how strong he is but i think he could be a beast on the glass. Mark my words,Humboldt will be able to put up 85 to 95 points a game. The only thing they will have to over come is the mental aspect of the game, like when there suppose to beat a tough oppent can the acutally do it? I sure do hope so,hasnt been a great year in football for us so im excited about the upcoming basketball season. Opener at milan this year cant wait!!!
  7. we done our warm ups at our on field then got on the bus
  8. I think humboldt has alot of work to do too. But remember,Crockett Co. will be alot of a lesser team than Giles Co. was....it will be a good game but i think Humboldt wins.
  9. Does anyone know if Derico Brown (#23) is ok? or what happened? and humboldt kept it with in a touchdown all night untill barker and dunbar collided and dunbar fumbled and the bobcats picked it up and scored....in the end giles co. just over powered humboldt
  10. Can anyone give me some info on giles co. running backs and some sets that they'll play
  11. Humboldt did really good on defense! We made a great goal line stand 4 straight plays and 0 points all with in 5 yrds. of the goal line.
  12. I watched/played (freshman linebacker/guard)in both the scrimmages 1. vs. Henry Co. and 2. vs. Camden and we have 2 great looking 10th grade running backs 1.Quan Campbell (dude is super quick and very very powerful) 2. Brian Harris (even faster than quan and has that break away speed once he gets to the outside.)We should have almost 3-4 starting 10th graders on both sides of the ball and they are quick, super athletic, and are great developing talents.
