I can't comment on the HC/MC game since I was not there. I gotta say though I am SHOCKED that WHH beat HC. I decided to go to the NCS/WHH game and the fact that WHH is even in the 2nd round of the 10A tourney is a gift. NCS lost that game MUCH MORE than WHH won it. NCS was up 9 with 3:30 left and decided to not run clock instead. MC will be 10A champs, good luck to all teams from 10A vs 9A teams.

I'm just laying this out there. I was on the 07-08 NC team and have seen CA play this year 2 times. I gotta say and I think most agree here, NC had better guards and CA has better inside play. I think the reason that a game between 07-08 NC and 09-10 CA would be won by NC is because of the 3. When we were firing from long rang you just could not stop us. I think if the teams played 10 times then NC wins 5 or 6 times. It is a game that would go either way but I think NC was/is the better team. I played for NC from the 06-07 season to 08-09 season, so I have been around 10A for a while and have seen all of NC's home games this year and the NC @ CA game as well. Just my .02

The tournament games with 3 v 6 and 4 v 5 will be the only games that are not only games but competitive games.

ER tops NC by 21 points. ER 56 NC 35. East Robertson was led by David Woodard and Phillip Stratton with 16 and 14 respectively.

10A Games tonight NC @ ER - I got NC by 13. CA @ JB - I got CA by 28. MH @ WHH - I got WHH by 17.

What a letdown for NCS tonight in the 2nd half. Martin Smith and Heath Dyer got into early foul trouble which allowed NC to take a lead at half of 32-25 and then it happened. Score at end of 3 - CA 44 NC 32. Yes, in case you missed that. CA won the 3rd quarter 17 to NOTHING! 34-11 in the 2nd half by CA and it ended 61-43. At one point I think CA went on a 28-0 run.

Congrats to WHH no doubt, I was not at this game but I have to say without a doubt in my mind if Malcolm plays CA wins.

Every single team in 10A has fans who yell things that should not be repeated. I say this as I have played in every gym in the district at least 3 times, so please don't make this into a thing of NCS vs the world. Don't complain about a NCS fan bashing a player when more than likely a fan from that same school had bashed on a NCS player or other players. Every school has fans that take it too far and every school has fans that don't.

MC with a great 2nd half comeback. MC over NC 58-52. NC was up 27-16 at half. End of 3rd it was 39-39.

Upcoming 10A Games 1-19-2010 CA @ HC - Rematch of last year's semifinal matchup where HC upset CA. CA won in Dec. My pick is CA by 29. ER @ MH - Gotta go with ER here. Their team is way too talented for MH, even though they only won by 4 @ MH. I think Woodard puts up 40 in this one. ER by 17. JB @ WHH - WHH just demolished NCS and look to take a strong hold on the #2 spot in 10A. It's gotta be WHH. WHH by 14. MC @ NC - MC just beat JB by 1 in OT and NC just lost by 20+ to WHH. MC beat NC earlier this year 52-39, but I have a feeling NC will make up for the last game. NC by 7. 1-22-2010 HC @ JB - I think both teams will be coming into this game after district losses by double digits. I think HC rebounds and wins. HC by 13. CA @ WHH - Battle of the top 2. Both should come in of wins in 10A play. CA won big earlier this year 69-42. CA by 16. ER @ MC - ER won at home against MC last meeting. ER has gone 2-5 since then. MC by 11. Wasn't at the NCS-WHH game but I was at the HC-NCS game and the transfer has only played 2 games with NCS, I think. I think chemistry will take a hit for a small amount of time just like it would be expected. I think come tourney time will be when NCS will be playing their best.

Big games coming up soon in 10A. Friday, January 8th. CA @ NCS WHH @ HC JB @ ER MC @ MH Predictions? My predictions are McEwen, East Robertson, and Houston County. I can't really predict the NC-CA game, if NC comes out shooting like they did against ER then I honestly think they will win that game. I am anxious to see how this new player for NCS plays in his first game for NCS since 8th grade and in the biggest game of the year for NC so far. If NCS is not deadly from 3 on Friday then CA has an advantage and would probably pull out the W. If I was forced to pick a winner, I will go with the hot hand and I'd say NC by 4.

Since the original poster has one post, this one, I am going to assume the Bisons are the team his son is on, and they are somewhere near his house. I may be wrong, I doubt it.
