  1. Let's come out and get behind these boys. Let's keep everything positive about our young men. Let's lock arms a BEAT DRESDEN tonight...
  2. You must be referring Alex Matlock, 2007 Mr. Football. I watched the first part of that "scrimmage" and I dont remember Dresden dominating anything. I heard the Matlock kid is the starting FB at Bethel University.
  3. I think it has been made public. I have heard it from several different people. I was told Coach Gilmer and Coach Norvall assumed administrative positions.
  4. I spoke to Joe and he told me he stepped down because he only wanted to coach one sport. He told me that last summer. Also, I am pretty sure Chis Wall is the head coach.
  5. I checked on this a little while ago. Apparently, this move to after baseball has started to pick up steam. I work with a couple of guys from Mustang land and they are doing it after baseball. I know Lewis County did it after baseball last year.
  6. I heard that they were around 30 or so, up from last year. I keep hearing that after this senior and junior class graduate, their numbers really go up. They will only have two seniors next year. That junior and soph class for next is impressive. I did hear too that their freshman will be something special too. I heard at a basketball game before Christmas that there are just not many boy athletes in the junior and senior class that do anything. They only had one senior on the basketball team and maybe one or two on the baseball team. Have you seen the Haynes kid lately. He is a great looking athlete. He is only a 10th grader. WOW.........
  7. The last I heard they were going in May after baseball season. Not real sure who they are scrimmaging. Dont they always scrimmage Lewis County?
  8. TigerFan - I think you are grossly misinformed. I was told yesterday their numbers will be up for next year. I beleive off season workouts start soon and more kids have actually signed up. I have noticed everytime you post something on here you are negative. The players dont need your kind of posts here. Everyone is not happy with 0-10. They players, fans, and coaches. Most rats jump ship when the boats starts to sink. The strong ones stay and mend the holes. Looks like you are a rat. Go ahead - jump off. I asked someone yesterday about all these players NOT playing. The truth is that the majority of 9th and 10th graders are playing. The senior class does not have many boys. Heck, someone said the basketball team only had one senior. I have followed this program for many years. The talent level has gone up and down. This website seems to be for players to follow the games and they read this stuff. Lets join together and rally around these boys. I know everyone has an opinion. TIGERFAN you have given your opinion. Now, jump ship. The rest of us need to support our Tigers and that ship will not sink.
  9. I remember that game. I think it was 93. Beat Huntingdon 13-10. I took vac. days in 88 and 89 to watch those two butt-kickins over the STANGS. I have watched a ton of games since the 70's. Teams are up and then down and then back up. The Tigers will get this fixed. It bothers everyone to struggle (especially the fans, players, and even the coaches.) I heard that they have nine starters returning for next year. I heard they had several true freshman starting. Someone mentioned they did not play anyone good. I looked on here. Seven of the ten teams they played were playoff teams. Be patient. I heard when this soph. class are seniors- they will have a solid team. Lets pull together cause we all love TIGER BLUE. I will do my best NOT to miss a game next. Those young kids they have look special. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />
  10. They are very young. 9th and 10th grades class are solid. I also heard they have a solid 8th grade class coming too. The future is bright. They just had to small classes back to back with 12th and 11th graders.
  11. Ill second that in regards to Manassas. I went to the Bruceton/Manasses first round game last season. It was too an epic clash. Two team swapped offensive punches all night. The people at Manasses are doing it right. Great job guys.. Keep up the good work... Everyone needs to be comended. Coaches, Players, Fans, administration.
  12. They start a bunch of freshman and sophomores. They only have three seniors and one junior. The 9th and 10th graders are playing but just lack bunch of experience. Those seniors last year had been starting for three years. I bet if we are patient and keep supporting the Tigers they will bounce back. Didnt get to come last night but last week I counted seven 9th and 10th graders in the starting line up. They have played three solid teams and South Fulton must be good.
  13. I have went to watch the team a couple of times and they just look like they have a large number of 9th and 10th graders having to play. I heard every RB, QB, and WR is freshman or a soph. With that kind of youth, you are bound to struggle.
  14. I keep up with the tigers then and now and that program still has class. Those players are taught right from the top all the way down. Not sure where you have been getting your information.
