  1. Honestly, if I were one of the coaches and playing a weaker team with a substantial/reasonable score already achieved, I would have them try and play possession for the rest of the game or only allow goals to be scored by headers or something of the sort. I think this would be the least disrespectful thing to do when it comes to these kinds of situations. Again, scheduling the best opponents possible is key in keeping the game as competitive and fun as possible.
  2. I know LA isn't a private school, I went to school there and played soccer there. Our team had some skilled players, but most of them had never played EVER. But they tried and were competitive and ran after every ball when they got beat... I am not calling anyone out, I am just saying if they want to beat the better teams, they have to want to and be competitive and most of all TRY their best, even if unsuccessful. Kat is a very skilled player, but it wasn't something that happened over night. She worked very hard to get to the level she is at. And I know she wants the team to win (against good teams too). I have seen the LA girls practice a few times, and yes...there is a lot of potential for that team. But in order to tap into that potential, you gotta be willing to put in the hard work and effort....anyway, just my thoughts Again, I was not able to go to the game, from what I was told...I heard it was going to be a tough one. If they played well as a team tonight, then good for ALL of THEM.
  3. I wasn't at the game, but I can tell ya, it is extremly difficult to man-mark Kat. From what I heard about the game, she was swarmed by players...not just 1. If it were just 1 player she needed to get by, it would have been a different story. You're right Mano, it does take a TEAM effort to win those kinds of games against better teams. Kat is very skilled and humble when she plays, so it would make for a better match if someone stepped up there game with her and helped out the team...idk, just my opinion
  4. Kat had 3 goals and 1 assist in her second game against White county, in which LA won 4-1 Wish I could have been there Kat!
  5. Choice (D)- All of the above... Thank you BigG for explaining how that works..I assume just the players relocate, right?
  6. Residency? Could you explain that a bit more? I understand the whole concern for fear of injury, that will always be there and she is taking the necessary precautions to decrease her chances of being injured. I suppose you could factor in any variable possible, but regardless...she would still want to be out there playing.
  7. She loves the sport and would go crazy if she had to sit in the stands and WATCH her team play.
  8. And only b/c she was told to stop scoring... wish I could have been there Kat Check out the vids on the ussoccer.com website for U-15
