The Z Plan is the next nail in the coffin for alot of the schools in Middle Tennessee. CPA, DCA, ... were 1A, the multiplier put them in 2A, Z-Plan takes them to 3A. That makes ift very difficult for a high school of 275-300 to compete. Your district in this area has you with 4 4A schools you have to play every year and 3 3A schools. If you don't beat the other 2 3A schools you can get left out of the playoffs. Forget this multiplier, z-plan and lets play football. Any school can work the system to get an advantage if they want. I wonder how many high school kids "relocate" to play at Alcoa.

Does CPA move the ball on the ground or are they a passing team? DCA this year seems to lean toward the passing game. This weather hurts DCA air attack but helps as the humidity is down. DCA numbers are down and alot of kids play both ways for most of the game.

Coach Pack will take FRA to DII as will Goodwin at DCA. Look for CPA to make the move as well. The one interesting one will be Ezel. They are down right down and projections show them going to 2A not 3A. IF they stay away from Trousdale COunty and Friendship they may be able to play down. there some day.
