I'm taking walker valley in this one because the chargers have alot of problems that they got to fix. The chargers need to fix all the mistakes then they should be able to beat wv. but polk showed how to beat them just hit them every play and they will fold and get tired. But i'm hoping the chargers get the mistakes fixed and win because i'm not a fan at all of the bradley teams.

Well after seeing polk beat Central up pretty bad and playing with that discipline and Polk Pride. I know Chatt Christian is just fielding a varisty team this year and got some building to do but if polk don't get the big head which i don't think they will coach davis does a great job keeping the players focused. Not bashing any players but polks starters won't be playing long friday night. good luck to the both teams Go Polk

I agree 100%. I haven't got on here because i'm not into all the bashing players and coaches but i love the way the players love this game they always want to beat each other and i do wish it was later in the season beacuse i think the team that wins this game wins the district. Both teams are very well coached and i was at the central and cleveland game and i could tell the players have more respect and that comes from the coaching staff. This is going to be a hard fought game and its going to be a close game good luck to both teams and have iinjury free games. Go Polk

hey guys mud slinging aside, just want to throw this out there..

in the cleveland game number 12 for central took a hit and re-ingured his neck... i coached this kid for one year and he always fought hard every play. from what i hear he could possibly never play again, so send your thoughts and prayers out for this kid!

Sorry to hear that my prayers are with that young man and his family. I never like to hear a player go down or with the injury you said might end his playing days i just hate it. i'm not going to get to slinging mud or bashing players i'm a former polk player and member of the team. Both teams are well coached and central is way better off with these coaches. but anyways to the game if central can get rid of the mistakes it should be a great game i don't think either team will blowout either team friday night. polk will be ready to play and play with that heart and pride they always do. polk is a whole lot better then last year and central lost i lil bit and i'm ready for this game to be played. i have to go with polk winning just by what i've seen from both teams but its going to be close. good luck to both teams and injury free game i don't want to see either team lose a player because both are going to make the playoffs and need all the players to be heathly when they get there. i am glad of 77 and and my lil bro 51 great job guys and the rest of the o-line i thought they handled that d-line pretty well tonight. i just can't say how proud i am of the whole team great job Polk

hey let me ask yall a question: How much of the loss was players and how much was coaching ? I was just wandering what out side opinion would be . thanks I know conditiong was a factor.

I think more the coaches then the players. the players did get gassed an i think they might have lost their composure towards the end of the game. put the coaches should have used one of those timeouts and got them calmed down. so i would lean more to the coaches but Polk played htey way the always have a didn't quit even after going 13 down they kept playing with that PRIDE. I don't know if that was the answer you was looking for thats just my point of view and Bradley played a heck of a game I ain't taken that from them at all just saying Polk wanted it more. Great job Polk

allwaysright I like how you show class good luck to Bradley the rest of the season. I'm just glad that a lot of the Bradley fans seen how Polk players play with heart and that Wildcat PRIDE and as for the Bradley fans that dressed up in straw hats and all that crap that looked so freakin stupid but those are the ones that have no class. for the ones that i talked to when i was leaving they showed class and i'm already for the first game next year. Yeah way to show class it was a great game and good luck to Bradley the rest of the season. I have to agree Bradley looked out of gas half way through the 2nd. I was surprised that Polk let them score on the first play though I think they had a lot of nerves and everyone seen how Polk played after they settled down. Great job Polk.

PolkTrevy you put it right Polk is well coached and i can't wait for the game tonight because Polk will show everyone and all those bradley people that we are the better team and play with alot more heart and the Wildcat PRIDE. I'm not going to get all fired up on here i will at the game tonight all i got to say my brother plays for polk and alot of his friends i am friends with and watched or coached in lil league and i know they will bring it tonight. Coach Davis will have his team ready for friday night. For the fighting i know for a fact that the Polk players will not get involved with that Davis demands respect and displine and his players play with great sportsmanship. Polks D will do great friday and the offense is way better then last year so polk should have a good chance of coming out on top. And as for looking past this game that won't happen the coaches and players want this game more then Central. I'm looking forward to friday night better get there early because its going to be a packed house GO WILDCATS!!!

the last couple of years polk has been small but they play with alot of heart and PRIDE. they got speed and i'm thinking if they show up to play they will take care of business at bradley. Go Polk

yeah this polk team has the talent and coaches do to very well this year. polk looked real good friday and i'm very excited bout this year because alot of the starters started last year or got plenty of playing time and almost all of them will be back next year also. I don't know where everyone is at but i'm excited bout this team. They looked good last friday and this friday they go down to east ridge and next week they got the redskins at polk. they got alot of startersback and alot of kids that saw playing time last year that will be starting this year. i'm ready for the bradley game i think it will be a good game. the wildcats are ready to make a run in the playoffs this year. I just wish more fans would get on here and let people know how good of a team we got this year. Go Polk

I'm a polk fan and ex player and just want to say good luck to you guys this year i'm looking forward to playing you guys. I do think central is going to be good just like last year they have alot of returning players and i think they will want ot prove to everyone that they are a team to be messed with. I love the rivalry between polk and central and yes they got us the last 2 years they just out played us and wanted it more and i respect that. in the new district its going to be between polk and central. good luck to both teams

Just wondering if anyone knows how they are looking and how pratice is going I haven't got thew chance to make it to any of the practices. I do know they go inhto pads I think the 27th not sure though. I'm really looking forward to this Wildcats team they got a bunch of kids coming back and they are hungry and ready to get playing.

Nice, coming from a grundy player. Get off the mountain more often and watch some real football. If you think size and speed does'nt matter, well maybe you need to try another sport. No need to get defensive, just be realistic. Polk played three good teams last year, {Central, Howard and playoffs} and lost all three. Every other win was against bad teams, in a weak region. Yes we have struggled recently but to compare schedules, get a clue. We have been a average team in a tough region. Your last paragraph sums up my point. You have to bring it every week in our region, that can't be said for your region. Did you see Willy B and Heritage play, not bad teams just in a tough region. If we are so bad why is Polk using us to upgrade their schedule? Not to get you worked up again but what team has Polk played that is "the fastest team in the state"?

The reason polk is playing tougher teams this year is because thats how coach davis likes it. in spring ball polk never plays a weaker team of before the preseason. coach davis likes the tougher teams makes his players better and work harder. bradley will have their hands full come the first week of the season its going to be a good game. i'm looking forward to this years team they got alot of heart and alot of returning starters and players that saw alot of playing time and sophmores. central will be tough this year as well. they did lose 8 starters but they are returning somewhere between 18-23 upcoming seniors that all played as starters or got lots of playing time last year. this group of kids started high school football the same year coach derrick came back and that means alot...

Are you seriously going to compare Polks record vs Bradleys record? Polk plays in "Region 0 for the playoffs" the last 4 years. Polk would not make the playoffs in Bradleys region. The dropoff from 3A to 5A talent is a huge difference. If Polk lined up against the likes off Ootlewah, Farragut, McMinn and the rest of the region they would'nt have a winning season, period. When was the last time Polk won a region title, in possibly the weakest region in the state? When was the last time Polk won a playoff game? How many teams did you play that had a .500 record? Let me quess, 2. I was a the Central game last year, Polk better be glad it rained or it would have been worse than it was. Your team is not as talented as you would like to believe, small and slow.

when was the last time bradley won a playoff game or much less had a winning season? polk is small but ask the other team how much heart and pride they have. not to mention all the other teams that said they are one of the hardest hitting teams they play. you can down polk all you want just adds to the desire to win for them. also i know it ain'n varsity but polks jv team has killed bradley everytime and now those same boys are varsity so i have no worries bradley will just get beat and keep talking trash like always. polk's players have a lot of pride and fight to the end. polk don't have the many students either coach davis does a very good job getting the best out of his players. i'm ready for this game to be played. also bradley got beat last year by polk in spring ball and polks didn't have half their starters because they was playing in baseball. polk pride

thats funny bradley already talking trash. polk lost to key players in taylor and jackson but they had a lot of younger players that stepped up and will be ready for this seaon. how many did bradley win last year? Not starting anything just making a point polk has had a winning season since 2001 so 8 years and making the playoffs all 8. polk has a lot of good talent and i think they will do great this year and i like how we got tougher teams to get them ready for the playoffs. in polks district it will be between polk and central both teams are going to want to prove that the playoff lost they both had last year was i fluke. i'm ready for the bradley game because polk will get the respect they deserve they come after you play after play and hit hard the whole game and they are a displine team and they are coach very well. i think it will come down to polk or central. polk has alot of returning staters which was younger but got alot of playing time last year. central i'm not sure how many they got returning but i'm sure they will have the talent. both teams have a tough season ahead. spring ball is coming up and that means football seaon is getting close
