alcoa just needs to go on and step up into 5 or 6a and get out of 3a they haven't even had a challenge from a team in who knows how long in their district and if i remember didn't Columbia beat Ensworth at the very beginning of the season? i think they should have another lil tournament and let Columbia, Alcoa, Maryville, and Smyrna go at it

Yeah Columbia and West in the ship with the way central played last night would have a brawl without a doubt

yeah but this is kind of needed after them saying the whole week they would come out and dominate central but i do know that these boys weren't going to lose especially after 5 minutes before Dylan died he asked his mom if they won and she said "yes baby we won" I for one know i never could of looked myself in the face if i had been playing on central's team last night and they lost, and i think those boys thought the same thing

good luck to both teams tonight hopefully yall get better officiating then we did last night still cant believe they took the shut out from us 3 times in one play. I'll be at home watching not sure who im gonna go for yet though

i don't see any of them posting in this thread anytime soon unless it's to say we were right in my honest opinion im not really sure how they made it to the ship HHS does have good players but the coaching last night was some of the worst i've ever seen like the lets try and throw it from the 10 yard line calls twice in a row which one ended for a 13 yard loss

Yeah just from the reaction of everyone in the stands I think half the people myself included were ready to go kill that ref... but what's even worse was last weeks game one of the refs walked off the field with one of Knoxville's players. Aren't you not allowed to ref a game if your related to or personally know a player when it comes to play-offs

congrats boys yall deserved it and I'm rather disappointed after all this hype from the commando fans about their line being so good and physical and so in shape. from what I saw central pushed them around made holes and broke through the O line from the time the first quarter started. and I do have to agree with everyone else I was sittin on the 50 and Eric belew never had control ball went in and popped right back out

I'm not sure if he got to play much at all this season I didn't hear about it till halfway through the season

This is something I think everyone should read is his final hours two things were said that made grown men cry I've never seen cry he woke up this morning around 245 in the hospital asked for his mom she came in and he asked her about momma O his grandmother who has passed away and she told him he could go see her if he wanted to then he asked her if we won and of course she told him yes then not to long after that he moved on. To me that says how much of an impact these boys have on each other that he held on just for them. And I say this in hope that all the teams across the state can have the type of bond that these boys had. God bless everyone

thanks everyone for all the prayers so far from what i hear he isn't doing much better.. but dad told me something tonight that this kid has done that brought a tear to my eye so i figured i'd share. The make a wish foundation asked this boy what was his wish for them to do for him, and he said take him and his family to Hawaii. Well now he is to sick to travel so they asked him something else they could do for him, and his response was to get the Columbia football team all new helmets and pads for next season. I don't know about yall but this says loads to me that he cares about all those boys more than anything else with what is going on right now to ask for this. So i just figured i'd give everyone a little bit of an update

it's game day boys and girls not really sure why im still up since im leaving for cookville at 8 in the morning and will be up in 5 hours... gonna be a long day good luck to all the boys tonight and hope no one gets hurt to bad

HAHAHAHA To what you said about them not getting on here i know a good bit if not a lot of parents do not get on here one mom i was talking to yesterday says she wont get on here because of the dumb comments some people make like flyat(which you can't even say that HHS has not been talked up a ton in this thread also) and i don't think i've ever seen a player on here from columbia maybe some of the kids that go to Central but that's about it
