All jokes aside, my vote is to put you out there as head coach if youre that qualified. The vols need help maybe we can get you spot up there in Knoxville?. Im a little suprised that someone as qualified as you doesnt see a problem...leads me to believe you probably werent very successful during your tenure. With the talent on the team 3-4 is unacceptable. Say what you will, im not attacking the man personally. Im merely criticising his coaching. Being a former coach yourself you know that comes with the territory. Ive seen Franklin Cowboys coaches with more fire and drive on the sidelines. Im not on here to start a fight or an arguement with anyone. I was actually hoping he reads these boards. If what I say hurts your feelings maybe you could use the block feature on here? Most boards have them. When the sports pages write something negative about Fulmer or Fisher do you send personal emails to all the editors telling them your credentials and that they are all wrong? I'd hope not. This isint any different. You seriosuly need to take a chill pill. Oh and if this was Jackie Bennett we wouldnt be having this conversation... he'd be lighting a fire under you know where!!

Hes been coaching for years. If he still cant figure out what type of plays to call then maybe its time for a career change? As for being the second "coach basher" in all of Page's history ill just say that im second in a long of many to follow...I can assure you! Your entitled to your opinion as am I. Being a football fanatic/junkie etc, i realise what goes into play calling...So I guess your saying that Neel was asking to go in for no apparent reason? If he had to come out I dont think hed be asking to go right back in.... I have to know.. are you related to Daniels? Spokesperson? Attorney? Whats the connection?...I'm missing something. As for liking one player, thats plain rubbish....those kids play their hearts out and are a much better team this year than last. I cheer for all of those kids. As for what I have to offer...that matters not one bit. I cheer for the team everyweek with pride. I think you should perhaps take a coach T break....seems youre taking alot of this to heart. As for Daniels...its nothing personal... Im sure hes a nice guy...but when its game time its about the coaches ability to adapt to the game going on in front of him not how adored he is by parents. All I ask is to see a little emotion. Players thrive off their coaches energy...especially at that age. Now...you can say what you want in return and thats fine. Ill be the better man and not respond to your personal attacks. Mistakes happen ill admit we get screwed by refs like everyone else... but with the right play calling this team would be 5-2 right now and not having to walk a tight rope to get into the playoffs. if they dont make it, it will truly be a shame. oh and in closing... There's two sides to every story. Im sure it extends beyond just one of our players. Thats usually the case.

I also saw the QB fumble two snaps. One of which was a turnover. As for the td pass...that was a great pass but it was too little too late. Especially after the turnover. If the game plan is to start experimenting with new QB's while the game is on the line then i guess I dont agree with that. I literally read Neel's lips as he asked Daniels to "put me back in". As for me, I dont have a "son" on the team. But the "player" i come to see didnt committ any penalties. Aggressive? LAST week at creekwood was aggressive. Fridays play calling was not. I love going to page games and consider myself to be a huge supporter. Thats why I hate to see the game taken out of there hands by the play calling. So as far as your last comment goes, I completely on board with the players. Just not the head coach.

Again....I believe this game was lost to the conservative play calling when page was losing with minutes left in the game. Also, not the best Idea to put a Sophomore QB in with the game on the line.... I just do not understand the coaches thought process. I think if this team would have a more aggressive coach they would have 2 loses under there belt instead of two. I am NOT a fan of Daniels.

WOW....what a change. Way to spread the ball around to the other playmakers on the team also nice to see the playbook opened up. Great job players and staff. Keep it up and we'll make a run for it!

we arent idiots....we know daniels isint out there in pads fumbling and missing blocks.... my issue isint with the entire coaching staff. its with the HEAD coach. Its his job to run a tight ship and its not getting done. There too much talent on this team to be 2-3

wow...where to start.... I consider myself to be a loyal page fan and i check the boards here normally. However after tonights game I had to register for an account and vent a little.... !) I DO NOT UNDERTSAND THE COACHING!!! This is our achilles heel. Im so tired of reading on here about how coach Daniels is a football "geniuis". Maybe at one point he was (brentwood/ravenwood) but im starting to think his magic is gone.... He is unable to adjust to the opposition. He goes into every game with the same one dimensional plan. He shows ZERO emotion on the sidelines. The man simply looks like he doesnt care.... STOP CALLING THE SAME 3 plays over and over again. (bubble screen, hb draw, qb keeper). Now i realize that this is 3A team and most 3A teams pass but come on! We run the spread offense with a QB that cant get enough protection and doesnt even look down field for the deep ball!!!!! We run up the middle with undersized O-linemen that try their best to block their oversized opponents. Im all for putting the ball in the hands of playmakers but I know for a FACT there are more playmakers on that team than #2 and #9 (no disrespect theyre great) but this is the most one dimensional offenses ive ever seen. All u have to do is watch tape and u know how to stop page. SHOW US SOMETHING NEW!!!! ADJUST YOUR DEFENSE AT HALF time.... EXAMPLE: obvious passing down 3rd and 14 and u send 3 rushers when we had been getting pressure all night!!!! FORCE A BAD THROW!!! IT WORKS!!! TRUST ME!!! RESULT: QB has 5 minutes to wait for a reciever to get open....1st down Marshall County!!!!! This happened like 5 times! EXAMPLE: Cornerbacks playing 10 yards off the recievers all night....RESULT: 5 yards here....7 yards there...picking appart the soft zone ALL NIGHT!!!!!!!! Our corners are better athletes than Marshall Co's recievers. LET THEM PLAY UP A LITTLE!!! ESPECIALLY WHEN WHAT YOUR DOING ISINT WORKING!!!!!!! 2) TURNOVERS, TURNOVERS, TURNOVERS---too many. Plain and simple 3) OFFICIALS: anyone want to pass the hat and take up a collection for these poor blind souls? WORST BALL SPOTTING EVER!!!! IM ALSO PRETTY SURE THERE WERE MORE FLAGS THROWN THAN TOTAL POINTS SCORED IN THE GAME.....REDICULOUS!!! missed facemask calls....etc. Horrible officiating!!!! In closing: Im sure alot of this may not make sense because im pist and needed to vent. but someone please give me an amen if u agree....i cant be the only one who see this.... It makes me so mad to see those boys hang their heads when the coaching is so bad!! ....pistpatriot....out
