I agree about the kids. Parents are too protective on them as far as practice comes. They are so worried about how much they had to run, how long practice lasted, etc. When I played ball, my parents weren't there to wipe my nose. They were not in the car on the way home talking about how bad the coaches were and how much I should have played or how someone else shouldn't have played. That is the problem today. I understand that parents need to look out for the best interest of their child, but sitting in the gym, on the sidelines, in the stands and taking notes on what every little thing a coach is doing and not doing is ridiculous. And yes, before anyone asks, I am a parent. And yes, they play ball. LET THE COACHES COACH. If your child is hearing negativity all the time, they are automatically going to be negative. Let the players have their own opinion. You will be surprised how much smarter they are than you give them credit. And please stop telling them how much they should be playing. That is the coach's discretion. Not yours or theirs.

Warren County is a great place to watch high school football. They are really great about standing behind their boys no matter what their record is. They also are good to travel with the boys. It was a great win last weekend. Good luck this Friday night !
