  1. DUH!!! I totally forgot you guys are going on to 3A. /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />
  2. Congrats to both teams. Marion, you made it to the Semifinals... No one thought that a few months ago but you proved you had what it took. Congrats Alcoa. I wish you guys nothing but the best of luck at the Boro. I really hope to see you guys again next year.
  3. WOW. 10-7 at the Half. I think some EF5 wishcasters are busting a forecast. (A little meteorology humor) GO WARRIORS!!! Show the Tornadoes why the 2nd half is your favorite.
  4. It's impossible for an EF 5 to develop when the temps are in the 40's. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  5. I disagree... Not all Marion fans are ungrateful.
  6. A lot has happened since MC played SP... (Winning 11 straight games and making it into the SEMIFINALS) Marion looks ahead... NOT BACK!
  7. What's great is we get paid to be wrong... RIGHT?
  8. LOL. I know.... I'm just doing what I do best... /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> (Meteorology and the fine art of getting under people's skin) And to answer the question about the PIC I posted... It was the May 99 (At the time) F5 tornado that hit the southwest suburbs of Oklahoma City.
  9. That's true. What I was alluding to was if the same storm hit today it would STILL be classified as an EF5. Sorry If I confused anyone.
  10. Blount Co Tornadoes since 1950 Here ya go.
  11. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> That storm had EST wind speeds of 301mph. But anyway... Back on topic.
  12. LOL. You guys are old school. Weather bureau went out LONG LONG ago! (It's the NWS now) As far as Tornadoes in Blount CO... There have only been 6 since 1950. Largest of which was (then) an F3 in FEB of 1993. And none have been in Alcoa.
  13. I'll be a good sport and help you guys out... Here is an EF5 Tornado... EDIT: Oh look... There's a satellite TOR too... Awesome Storm!!! (May 3, 1999)
  14. If that is your definition of an EF 5, we have nothing to worry about. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
