Don't worry this PRIVATE SCHOOL will be ready for Jackson Co in the regions........And no way either district sweeps the first round!

I will answer the question on the kid you are referring to. He was at CPA as a freshman. Once he seen Drew Maddux go out and get Bradshaw from Greenbrier he knew his playing time was going to be limited. So he was already at a private school and transferred to another private school. That would be called a TRANSFER. No he didn't move. He is eligible to play once the district tournament starts. How much time will he get? Don't know but he will be the 8th-10th man on the squad. He has been practicing all year and playing JV games when they were scheduled. Mid Tn.....call it what you want.....recruit, transfer, there by choice, there because a parent can afford $8000/yr....whatever flaots your boat. You just worry about beating Clay Co Tuesday and winning your district so you want have to smell your foot when its down your throat!

And one other thing........Birdwell will NOT hit 8 three pointers again in this game.........

Who are our TWO new recruits Mr Jax Co? We lost 4 senior starters from last year. Hill #11 is the only starter back and he is a senior. Neal #23 took a year off last year because he didn't like the way the former coach ran things. He is the only other senior on the team. Other starters are jr's in Patterson #5, Hutchsion #21, and Sandoval #22. Then there's about 3-4 other jr's that play.......... We play as a team don't count on one player to carry us. I'm looking forward to playing Pickett Co Friday (had a good 2 pt game at their place early in the season) and Clay Co Saturday night at their place. First time we played Clay Co we had our point guard (Patterson) in a sling with a shoulder injury and our shooting guard (Hill) out with high ankle sprain.......not saying we will win this time but we will be at full strength if someone doesn't get hurt before then.

I guess big game is next Tues Jackson Co @ Clay Co.......What happens if Clay beats JC and both are 6-2? Coin flip?

This just means we are seeded #1 in the district tourney. The key is to be #1 after the district tourney to draw #4 in 7A. Looks like 7A will be JC; CC; PC; CRange (not particularly in that order) Should be a good region tourney

Well your prediction was wrong. FCS went to RBS and came away with a 4 point win. Wes Grace was off last night only getting 9 points. He looked frustrated somewhat when he missed his shots. #25 and #11 both shot well from the 3 pt line to keep RBS close. FCS killed RBS on the boards. Sandoval, Hutchison, and Neal rebounded the ball good last night. And Hill had I think 3 triples in the first half. One thing I noticed last night was the fact that FCS needs to practice foul shooting......it may come back to haunt them later on. Good look to all other 4 teams who all have 2 games left in the.......The goal for them is to finish in the #2 or #3 slot so they don't have to play in the elimination game on Feb 15th. Looks like TC will finish in the bottom 2 but who will get the #4 slot?

After last night the standings are: FCS 8-0 no games left G'ville 3-3 games with RBS/Watertown RBS 2-4 games with G'ville/TC Watertown 2-4 games with G'ville/TC TC 1-5 games with RBS/Watertown Only thing for sure is FCS is the top seed and will play the winner of the play in game (#4 vs #5).......The others will have to wait to see who beats who tonight and next Tuesday.

Yes the District is at Gordonsville and region is at Watertown. Someone said last night the play in game would be played at the #4 spot's gym on Feb 15th??? Not sure about that date......The districts must be completed by Feb 23rd according to TSSAA web site. And I would say RBS finishes #2

Speaking of the districts how will that match up since we have 5 teams. Does #4 and #5 play to see who gets in as the #4 team? Right now that would be TC @ Gordonsville and the winner would play FCS.......RBS vs Watertown. Then those would be the 4 seeds that would play D7A in Watertown for the Region......Is that correct?

Well the Green Machine showed RBS who their daddy was last night. FCS District 8A Regular Season Champs! Rematch tomorrow night @ RBS. #15 getting into foul trouble early hurt their offense. Then #21 getting that T (which he deserved) took him out of control. If RBS didn't have Wes Grace yall might win a game............ He is the best player in our district hands down! He is smooth in transition.....I think I heard where all 5 starters are seniors? Didn't see much left in the pot after that!

Now that I got that off my chest if FCS can't be REGION 4A champs I for one will be pulling any 8A team.

Watertown snaps 18 game losing streak to RBS???? WOW!

Well I know one thing, FCS has to play better than they did last night to be the D8A champs! We folded like a rag in the 3rd qtr. Westmoreland came out hungry and we didn't. They turned a 3 pt deficit into a 16 pt lead after 3. Then we decided to play in the 4th qtr. Lost by 2 but left it all on the court. We got an open look from the 3 pt line with about 2 seconds left but the Reeves kid missed it. I think we should have tried to go inside again to the Sandoval kid. He and Hill had a great 4th qtr. We put up I think about 33 pts (only had 4 in 3rd qtr).... Bottom line is the 3 pt shot beat us again last night. Westmoreland had 9 of them and we had 3.......that's the bottom line my friend......Both teams shot well from the line the best I can remember. The only good thing about this loss was it wasn't a district or region game........ I did read in the paper where the boys from Watertown UPSET RBS last night......Watertown is scrappy I can say that much. That makes RBS 2-2 in the district with 2 games left with us, 1 with TC and 1 with Gordonsville I think.

Another possible loss for FCS?? Sophmore Kaitlyn Teeter may be out for some time or the remainder of this season? Haven't heard exactly what happened but it has something to do with her heartbeat I think? Someone said last night she has had this problem in her early childhood. Again not sure what the actual problem is but please keep her and her family in your prayers too. (Her mom DeAnna is the head coach for the Lady Commanders)

The Commanders need this one very badly. By far FCS is the better team but like the post before me said "Throw out the records" in this HEATED rivalry. This spills over from football and gets very rugged to say the least. If FCS wins this one then they must at least split the RBS series next week to claim the 8A championship.

Game is actually Thursday Feb 3rd @ RBS after we play them @FCS on Tuesday Feb 1st Huge back to back games for the D8A championship regular season.
