oh you dont have to worry about not bringing a crowd to Cannon. This is the game that most of DeKalb looks forward too all year long. it is always one of the biggest crowds of the year. People come from far and wide to see this game. i am personally coming from over two hours away to take part! I believe that DeKalb can beat Cannon if we keep the discipline up and not make early game mistakes. We need to come out strong and play that way through the entire game! GO DC!!

I just wanted to say congratulations on making history guys and for having such a great season. It really means a lot to not only the students but the community. I know you guys had a hard loss tonight but dont be mad, sad or anything like that, lets celebrate the history that we made and how great of a season you guys had. You guys have made my senior year at DCHS and memorable one, and one i will never forget. Every single one of you played your hearts out all season long and fought for every win we had. You guys never gave up hope even through the hardest of times especially this past week. I know for the senior class especially its hard to walk away from this team but you all walk away winners in the book of DeKalb Co. I believe i can speak not only for the senior class of 09 but the entire student body when i say we are VERY proud of each and every one of you and thank you for making this such a great and memorable year for tiger football. I know that Coach Ed would be and is very proud of everyone also. After such a great season we all bleed black and gold!

even through this tragedy our boys will get out there and play there hearts out, even more now. coach ed would want nothing more than for the tigers to get out there and play there absolute hardest and never settle for anything but the best. To the team: get out there with smiles on ur faces and know that he is right there with each and every one of u and dedicate that game to him and show him what these history making tigers can do. this hit every person in dekalb and we will all miss him and just continue to keep all of the football team and the edwards family in your prayers.

o so was i!! i was standing by the fence the entire game and was 1 of them many many students that rushed the field. as a senior at dchs i am very proud of our team and coaches and will bring down the posts next week!

the first half went kind of ruff for the tigers but they got out there after halftime and played their hearts out. their D looked better than ive seen it all year. some big plays came from both teams last night but dekalb showed that they are a very tuff team to beat and the tigers have very talented players, coaches, and the best, loudest fans ive ever heard! and what exactly did #7 do to get ejected last night, i wasnt really watching him

i was just about to say that poteete is a VERY talented QB and DeKalb would suffer without him

Believe me it will b a good game dekalb plays some good fball and has a very talented team this year dekalbs qb is one of the best in the state and complete any pass to any receiver on the field mcminn is going to have a tough game on their hands but in the end the best team will win....i just hope its the tigers!

great 2nd half for the tigers. they just dominated the MC tigers with 4 interceptions by JJ Herriot and 28 quick points. macon was obviously getting very frustrated because two of their players were ejected in the 2nd half for stupid personal fouls. o well who cares DC tigers dominated tonight and its nice to see them going into the playoffs at 8-2 Good Luck Tigers!! c/o 09

from what i saw last night, dekalb didnt come out as pumped up as they have been for their other games because it was supposed to be an "easy" game. they didnt get into it as much as usual and it almost came back to bite em but glad they held off the bees /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Tigers really played hard last night. started off with a 76yd td pass to Abrahm Edwards, along with 2 more TD passes and 1 TD run. Poteete played a good game last night, his running game was shut down a lot but as always his passing racked up the points and gave DeKalb the big win!!
