Well with the way the Cyclones are playing I believe they will still be undefeated after taking the trip over the mountain to asheville. Asheville will be a different team, but North Carolina football is different than Tennessee football. Cyclones should win in this one. Cyclones-35 Cougars-21

I dont know if you can say "wont have any trouble" because of the threat of the pass and the run game of HV. Escpcially with South running for more than 200 yrds last week. So dont expect HV to just lie down.

Its been serval years since the Unaka Rangers have been to Warrior Hill. With new head coach Steve "Pink" McKinney how do the Rangers match up with the Warriors?

It is a done deal jenkins will be an assisstant coach for the football team taking McKinney's place. Also, he is the head baseball coach.

well yea he liked to dance around in the back field and take a loss. but the line kinda gave up blocks at times. he was kinda dissappointing. He also shared the rb spot with garrett dykes. so he had 1/2 the playing time as his freshman yr.

Unaka Rangers have a new head coach that comes from the 2008 Watauga Conference Champs Happy Valley. Coach McKinney, Hv's offensive coordinator. Wat do u all think?

they have the throwing QB Ethan Fleenor, WR Jake Hodge, DT/G Jake Miller, RB Landon South, FB Derek Mann. Thats the main ones returing but the Warriors have a bunch of senoirs yet again this year and more players that will see more playing time. The only huge loss for HV was LB Casey Green.

thats true being 4A is a big advantage but Hv beat UC last year, they were 4A, but also had a terrible year. I believe that what happens.....happens u kno.

Forgot about the first match up. I say a good game out of both clubs, and yes it will be close. Because both Hampton and HV are playing good ball as of now, but we'll see.

Well the way it looks CGALUM07, I heard about how SG came out against Loudon and went up 6 to nothing. Then on their next drive they almost scored and Susong's pass was intercepted after it bobbled in and out of the recivers hand. If SG went up 13-0 I believe Loudon would have gave up. So, HV might do Region 1 well. Been awhile since HV has been one of the top 16 teams in the state! I'm rooting for you Warriors!!! GO WARRIORS!!!!!! HV-35 Loudon-28

But South Greene isnt the best team in our region. All I was getting at was that maybe Hv can give Loudon a fight.

Maybe HV can prove some people wrong in this one. Cause we are just as strong as Region 2. But thats why you play friday night. DO YOUR TALKING WITH YOUR PADS!!!

Yeah. We are just worried about Loundon, Region 2 might be stronger in some areas, but maybe not all. CAK can be a good team if they play and not worry about who their opponent is. GO WARRIORS!!!!!
