I have only got to see one game Sunbright play and that was against Wartburg... I don't think Fundamentals is the problem.........I will agree they had over 25 turnovers however both teams had that many......what happen at Oneida a team that had only 2 wins also............keep up the good attitude........

You are right they haven't played anybody yet. They have been PRACTICING very well together. After Friday night game with Wartburg, Sunbright looked like they are lost. I don't see them turning this program around.

I am not apart of the administration. I do know the reason that Mr. Davis is no longer at Sunbright, I will not say because I don't want to start anything, but if you would like to know ask Mr. Davis he will tell you. I know Mr. Dagley very well and he knows his basketball someone has finally given him a chance to show what he knows. Then you must be in agreement with the administration to get rid of Coach Davis, if you know Mr. Dagley very well then did you know Coach Davis also?

It still happen. It happen long before Coach Alan was coach. The Coach before him Shoemaker, even with Napier who is at Wartburg Middle School now that is all I know about. Since they are playing well, together who have they played?

She also told me that all of the girls on the team was not getting along with each other and fighting with each other all the time.

Coach Hines Played at Coalfield and then at Roane State I think Coach Christopher played at Oliver Springs college ??? Coach Dallas Davis played at Sunbright then at Tenn. Tech

I was told by the girl that moved (MB) that she did have a choice to stay in Sunbright or move to Wartburg.

Well well Wartburg has problems too. Lets see!!!!!!! If a player of a school broad member doesn't get playing time it will have a impact on how he votes. So here we go again a Coach is under pressure by playing the daughter of the school broad member (not enough time Coach Davis Dad will not get the votes). Sound like the same topic about the Sunbright Coach about how parents controls Coaches.

I will agree with you on this; however the only way that this new coach is have a good season is the mother of the player that started this mess to stay out of trying to run the school.

Yes Coach J. Davis had a very good 1st year has a coach but looked what he took over a Team of Seniors Coach by who "Coach Dallas Davis" a brother to the Sunbright coach who took over with one (1) Sr. and with 6 So. 2 freshman. Coach A. Davis would have improve this year with 6 Freshman coming in. I don't think they gave Coach A. Davis a chance.

Thats the problem with Sunbright now "NOT THE ONE MOST OF THE PARENTS WANTED THE PERSON MOST OF THEM WANTED WAS A MAN THAT IS IN FLORIDA" when does a shool have to get the approval from parents to hire a coach. I talked to a few folks myself from sunbright and they said the man in florida was interviewed this past summer, also Coach Davis was very sucessful in middle school last year and in the past. I was at the Area II championship game when his one of his best player (he had 5) was at the line he knew she was going to hit those foul shots. I couldn't believe the girl missed them myself. I think they would have won the state as well as the boys. So Coach Alan has done a great job at Sunbright.

Yes a SO. girl moved to Wartburg and played as a Freshman last year and started a few games, maybe 3 will transfer by end of the week don't know if its going to Wartburg. I guess Coach J. Davis is calling and waiting with open armes.

I believe Coach Davis would go back if he was asked. Alot of people have been asked to take this mess. NO ONE WANTS TO COACH AT A PLACE THAT PARENTS ARE IN CONTROL.

Found out today from a former player from Sunbright that the main parent that was involved of getting rid of Coach Davis was a player mother that is working in the office at the school. So when he was playing a Freshman over her in Camp, now look what happen.

They need to ask Coach Davis back! It starts Monday!!!! I went to Oakdale to watch OZ middle school play and stayed and watch Sunbright Middle School play I didn't know Coach Davis wasn't coaching the middle school either. He played in OS summer camp with his middle school girls and played Rockwood and lost to them by only a few points, who is this coach for Sunbright Middle School now. Has she coached before?

Coach Davis worked under Coach Stephens and they both worked hard and put alot of time into the game. They both were done this way back a few years ago by the school officals.

Has Sunbright found a Coach yet? It all starts Monday!

He won the Morgan Co Tournament over large school Wartburg which made it to the state in large school, 2nd in Area II, got beat in the Sub State by Lenior City which won the State not bad after taking over the middle school for one year.
