Johnny Morgan is a great coach, and has nothing but class. I really hate it for you all. I eventually think that Central finally gets it done, but it has to be frustrating. At least you all get there though.

I am standing by my first picks Harriman / OS OS Wins by 15+ OS always have a bad game in the region, this year they won there bad game in the past they lost it. Wrong. Just like football, Tellico ends Oliver Springs' season.

I was happy that we recognized Carson at the game. But to answer Cookvegas, no one person actually stood out about the rest. Preston Russell had a good game, but had 3 offensive fouls. Gage had a few points in the paint, and had several rebounds. We done a very good job of taking care of the baseketball. One more win, and we are in the secionals! GO BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was really not that close in the end. Tellico played great defense down low, and Oneida missed their 3 point shots. Big win for us!

That is not going to happen. What they need to do however is to go back to the old district tournament schedule. These games are spread out way too much, and it is hard to make it every night.

Great effort by Harriman tonight, they just got into too much foul trouble. And, our girls wore them down in the end. Hopefully, our boys will make it a double crown tomorrow!

Like the idea? The Buro was a pretty good central location for everyone, but it is a pain in the butt to get to. (too far off the interstate). Cookeville has fewer motel rooms however. Anyone had a problem finding a room?

Young man, that is probably a lie. Every Tellico fan had respect for a team like Hampton, and knew that we were the underdogs. I mean good grief, Tellico is not exactly a booming town either. I thought Onieda would be a tougher draw though, and I was proven wrong. There is no doubt that you all were a much better coached team. We have a pretty good head coach but the assistants are just not that good. I like Don Swanson, but he should not be calling the plays. He is fine at coaching a postion, but that is as good as it is going to get for him. I still wish we had guys like Gordon Kelley, Donnie Kelley, and Coach Mac on our staff. But, you have to give credit to the players as well. Good luck against Kingston. You all should win.

Tough Country Boy talk has always amused me. I heard a story about a McMinn County-Riverdale playoff game. It was raining, and the Mcminn boys were doing their pregame stuff in the mud, and the coach made a comment at the Riverdale Panzies because they were holding umbrellas as they done their walk through. I think Riverdale won 49 - 7. Seriously now, we are just as country as you guys, but it won't make a difference on who wins the game.

Tellico hits as hard as Hampton and are as "country" as Hampton. (Whatever that means. To some of the old giezers, if you are a country boy and haul hay, you have a better chance of winning.) I honestly believe that if Tellico does not have any turnovers, they will win.

How much money do you throw away each week anyway? So, you have a family of four? Well, don't eat after the game. Bring sandwiches.

Look guys, it is called inflation. When I was in school 11 years ago, regular season tickets were 5 bucks and playoff tickets were 6 or 7 bucks. Quit crying about a couple of bucks. Just save your coke cola money for the week to make the difference. If you drink too many soft drinks, you will get fat anyway.

Hampton won 9 games, so they have to be pretty good. Tellico probably played a tougher schedule, and they can be tough to stop. However, if Tellico plays like they played last night, THEY WILL LOSE. That had to be the ugliest playoff win in the history of Tennessee High School football. Oh, and the 3.5 hour drive will suck.

Tellico overcomes mistakes and wins 20 - 12. Was not a very well played game at all by the Bears. Still though, it is the first playoff win in 15 years, so we will take it.
