What are you thinkin about this game?

Even though the records are similar, you can't really compare the quality of the teams unless you were actually there and saw the games that year. I started that year and the reason the records were similar to this year is because the competition in west tennessee was a lot more even and stronger in 2003. Plus with our team that year we had a more complete team and a lot stronger and better team. Not to take anything away from what this team has accomplished, but i know they couldn't hang with our team.

True George West was a part of one of the best offenses ever at Milan but when you have Rod Smith, a good running fullback, a good possession receiver, and 2 deep threats then its hard not to be considered. I still believe that Matt Sims is a whole lot better because of his leadership abilities leadin milan to back to back state titles in 2 different classifications. George West broke down in the 4th quarter in the semi-final game with 8 minutes left so in my book he's farther down the list.

Yes but if you look at the quality of competition this year compared to the 2003 season, then you'll see that that stat is misleadin when comparing teams. The competition level of the teams this team faced this year is really lower than the teams the 2003 team faced. This year Huntingdon is way down, trenton is young, westview didn't have their quarterback due to injury, humboldt is young. In 2003 teams were alot stronger and more competitive
