  1. Haha...I think you're the only other one Pep. We play Cookeville tomorrow at home. Last week we beat Warren Co. 2-0 and Red Bank 8-1 or something. We lost 5 starters last year, but 3 of those are filled by guys who were interchangeable with the starters who grarduated. We have 8 seniors, 1 junior, and 2 sophomores who start. There are some early question marks, but we have some great potential.
  2. Top Teams 1. Mccallie 2. CCS 3. Mcminn Co. Top Players 1. Jarred? Price - Mcminn Co. 2. Trey Meyer - Mccallie 3. Drew Courtney - CCS
  3. No Chris Love is not related to Paul or Mike and the other brother. I think they live somewhere else, and they're black, and he is white.
  4. CCS scrimmages Warren Co. tomorrow, Red Bank Saturday, and start the season on Tuesday the 16th at home against Cookeville.
  5. Craig Golden? If the kid's your hero, you might as well get his name right (Criss).
  6. Trevor is definitely Best of Preps, but not one of top 5 players in the area. He would get more recognition if he played on a better team.
  7. Huh? Who gave this award?
  8. No, I'm not talking about Mitch. This guy wore a headband. We haven't had a scrimmage yet b/c our coach is in Japan right now, and had a scrimmage moved. Next week we play Warren County and Red Bank. Since our basketball just got upset in the region Drew Courtney and David Neilson (arguably our two best players) will both be starting next week.
  9. Jon Cook. He played Temple almost by himself tonight in scored 28 in a losing cause which may have put him over 2,000 for his career. He deserves the award for starting for four years on one of the best teams in the state, and carrying that team for the last three since Jason Holwerda left.
  10. Seth held Jon the whole second half and everybody in the gym saw it except for the refs.
  11. Does anybody else find it hilarious that Temple put a sign up in their own gym that says, and I quote "Flaming Hot Threesome", and then goes on to name three players from their own team. Wow.
  12. Go Boyd??? In the first CCS-Boyd game, CCS could have won by 90 points, but the coach took out the second string and put in the third string. Does anybody else on here agree that no one from Boyd should be allowed to talk at all? Way to go in the second game by holding the ball for a minute at a time while you're down by 10. That's a good way to cut down that lead. Maybe next year. Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
  13. No I'm not. He gets on here some, but doesn't usually say anything.
  14. Wow, calling a total stranger an idiot. Mitch has probably had 25 dunks this season including two right over Grace players, and an and 1 against Valley where he posterized their big man. Valley has great defense as long as they're in a game. Morgan shut Jon down for a lot of the game, and they also double and triple teamed him. He got his 17, but 17 is a long way from 63. Four other players in double figures is a pretty balanced effort. I don't care who your team is, but chances are that CCS whooped up on you. Have a nice day. P.S. Excellent use of hypens instead of periods (.) in your post. P.P.S. Did you come up with the fagot joke yourself?
  15. The Flaming Hot Threesome of Temple had better step up for them, and I don't see that happening. CCS has too much height, speed, experience and desire. They also go 8 deep while if I recall Temple plays only 6 or 7. CCS 64 Temple 53.
  16. Hawk, I don't think that I've ever posted on the baseball board. I do post on the soccer board, and I go to CCS.
  17. That is all CCS has? Lookout Valley in the district final saw Jon score 17, Dan Nielson 17, Mitch (the big guy who dunks on anybody) 13, Drew 11, and others chipping in. Chris Jones can get his 15 every once in awhile, and everyone knows that CCS plays the best swarming and aggressive defense for a bunch of white kids. To call CCS a one man team looks pretty ridiculous coming from a team where one guy takes 25 shots a game. I can't wait. Also, why is the Region tournament being played at the high school and not the university. Oh well. Go Flaming Hot Threesome.
  18. Wow, that was such a fun game. There wasn't quite the buzz as the championship against CAK, but we knew we were going to have to play a great game and we did. Is LC's keeper back? He was the big Hispanic guy I think, and in my opinion he gave us a goal and was just overall kind of scary in the goal. Also what about the center mid who had the longer hair?
  19. Most people will probably be there for the 5:00 game between #1 CCS and #2(1) Temple. Having seen Temple and Grace both play CCS I have no doubt Temple is the better team. But as far as Grace - Valley, I say Valley 56-50.
  20. Nine hundred and ninety something? That's the most absurd thing I've ever heard. CCS has about 390-410 students in the High School. 1200 something K-12. I can't believe you think that our high school buildings could hold 990 people. Wow. Way to give us the play by play of the goal that knocked your team out. Drew did beat him man very badly, and Timmy finished which is much easier said than done. Anyway that's all the past along with the estimated 20-0-2 record that CCS has against Grace.
  21. Nothing to do with this year, but FRA was beat by a better CCS team last year. In my opinion Lenior City was the best A/AA team in the state last year. CCS played one of the best games of all time and deserved to win 3-0, but instead settled for 3-2 on a cheap P.K and even worse free kick right outside the box.
  22. 4-1 Baylor, 2-0 Notre Dame would be my predictions against Grace.
  23. Not Hendersonville or Brentwood, or even any Memphis teams.
