Here is what I posted for last year. I usually try to update the fb page closer to season after coaches have formed up their dates. I assume most should stay on the same weekends for next season. Our fb page is TN Girls USA Wrestling, people post a lot of girls info on there.

Yes, the TN Ironman, Kellar Classic and FreeStyle State will have a girls division.  Ironman for girls will have Folkstyle and Freestyle, with Greco exhibitions for anyone wanting to give it a go.  Additionally, we are travelling to several other girls tournaments. If anyone would like information on them please give me a call.

If any female wrestlers are interested in going to Nationals in OKC and would like to be part of the Tennessee Team please contact me.  Last year we took 36 girls for the individual tournament and entered 2 teams in the duals finishing 7th.  We will also take girls to 6 other girls tournaments including Fargo, the World Team Trials and 1 international tournament.  OKC is our most significant girls tournament because it is also a college tournament and every college is there with tables for recruiting.  If any coaches would like to help out contact me as well, Thanks.

That's awesome, looking forward to it.

The camp has been moved to NorthWest High School in Clarksville.  Unfortunatly the HVAC units failed at the Clarksville facility and need to be replaced.  Considering the practice room was 85 degrees last night we needed to find another facility.  NorthWest was kind enough to let us use there facility at the last minute.  If you have any questions please feel free to give me a call.

We have one representative at 165lbs who will be attending. I am not sure what your dual team looks like up to this point but I am sure she would be interested in wrestling in the Dual portion as well. The more competition she can get against National talent she will take. We will be having practices as well at Cane Ridge if any other girls would like to attend. I would also be available to coach any others if needed. 

 

Also, if any girls are interested in sharing in the cost of a hotel room with our girl we can work something out I am sure.

Where are you located Mr. Badon? Are you taking from all areas of tn?

I am located in Johnson City but I am taking anyone that wants to go. I wouldn't be posting on here if I wasn't. We are also having regional practices. Do you have someone interested in going?

The girls will be traveling with us.  If a girl would like to travel on their own we would be their to coach her and can compete as part of team TN in the duals or on a pool team on Sunday.  Either way we will be their to coach them if needed.  So far we have 17 signed up.

Girls Nationals is March 23rd-26th.  If there are any more girls interested in traveling with us please let me know asap. We want to take as many girls as we can that are interested in wrestling in college or improving themselves.

The quality of wrestling is improving across the state every year with many girls competing year round.  There are several girls that are very impressive overall as a wrestler devoid of their gender.

We will be having a Girls Camp (All Ages) at Bearden HS from 2-5pm.  Athletes not accompanied by a coach will need to have a parent sign them in and fill out paperwork.

There are several Faculty as well as support positions available at Sullivan South. There is also an Elementary School on the campus and positions at other schools in the county.

Sullivan South Wrestling has its own facility and is fed by a growing and fiscally sound feeder program that also has paid coaching positions available.

WOTR and USA freestyle regionals is the only thing I have found.  http://www.waroftheroseswrestling.com/  The closest tournament was in South Carolina.  There isn't a huge turnout but the level of competition was good and my girls got as many matches as they wanted.  One of them getting 7 matches.

Cowboy boots are allowed but workin mans boots are issued when you cross the Dickson County line.
