Cannon will have to come to play in this game, lets hope 4th time is the charm, i would say attack dyer but refs wont call fouls on her, Dodgen will get his team ready for this game the way upperman celebrated monday was like they already won the region, they still have another game to play and it could be different, good luck to the lions tonight!!

I think the Upperman celebration was so intense Monday because they won the matchup between the two best teams in this region tournament and avoided elimination. I hope tonight both teams come to play! I always love to watch this #11 on #11 matchup. Hopefully both teams bring their A game to substate and maybe even both make a trip to the Boro?

Where are all the LA people that said Upperman was going to get beat by LA? i told ya Upperman was clearly the better team and beat LA AGAIN for the 3rd time this year! The only reason it was that close was the refs kept LA in it by gettin Upperman in foul trouble. Win or lose tonight i think it is awesome what Dekalb has accomplished! I also believe that the region champion will be decided in the 7:30 game tonight...

See, they wanted to cancel the region tournament last year when Upperman was the favorite, but ya know, things happened. Some people just run their mouths behind a screen name. Only thing I would book right now would be the final four: Upperman vs 28,000 point underdog Livingston Academy (why play this game? Livingston hasn't beaten them since? Oh yeah, two weeks ago.) Then Grundy vs Cannon County (sorry DC.) See ya soon.

Whoa, hold up... There is no upsets or underdogs in LA vs UHS, a win is a win. The word UNDERDOGS is irrelevant to the LA/UHS game.

Upperman defeated LA by 3

LA is the #2 seed and Upperman is the #3 seed. I was under the impression that a lower seed beating a higher seed was considered an upset, not to mention that LA is 2-0 vs Upperman this year...

Anyone calling 2 upsets tonight with Upperman over LA AND Dekalb over Cannon???

If i had a vote, I would consider Sells, Roberts, Brown, and Sissom for MVP. I would give the notch to Sells because she has the most deadly jump shot in the district hands down. Roberts and Sissom are capable of taking over games from 3 every night. And when Brown decides to go to hoop you had best get out of the way because she is as tough and strong as they come. So that gets MVP and 3 of the 1st team players. Next i would go to Dyer, because she is the best post player is the district. Then i would have a tough time debating between Biles and Woodward, because both can take over a game when needed but would be tough to pick between the two for the last spot on 1st team.

Okay so if i am correct, if Cannon Co. defeats Upperman Monday night, Cannon Co. gets the title. Upperman would get the title if they beat LA friday and Cannon Co. Monday. And LA needs to beat Upperman Friday and Dekalb Co. Saturday and then need Upperman to beat Cannon Co. Monday, to cause a 3-way tie. So how does everyone see this playing out?
