a couple years ago id be quick to agree with you but i dont think there the top team in carter co, cud be in the conference but Cloudland should be though and Unaka's shown some improvment

i know after last years run people are going to be a little skeptical but i think you will see

Now that the summer workouts are over and time to strap on the pads,The coaches were pleased with the overall committment and work ethic. A big shout out goes to Cody Madden and Lucus Teague, I hear these 2 have demonstrated some very good leadership. But again ,they were pretty much pleased with all the kids. Good job,payday is just around the corner.

first of all lucus teague is a joke..every time he lifts he maxes every time far as i remember thats not how u lift..and he is stuck up the water girls butt..if he would actually lift rite and stay away from a lil water girl he mite be worth somthin..now cody madden wat did he do last year that everybody think hes so good for?madden and teague are both jokes as of now thay havent proved nothin to me.and bulldog50 is a complete dumb a** when u get playin time than u can say somthin..but u mite wanna stay off coacht lil guy

Logan Andrews from Hampton is deffinately an all state type of kid. If you have the chance to meet him on the field, it won,t take long to get to know him. He,s a brute.

i dont think you will want to meet him on the feild. hes a monster. everybody will no his name by the end of this year

the 4th aginst tri-cities christian kings academy and south green at tri-cities. the 12th we play watagua up there. should be pretty good games.

it was really good practice. i think they will get better. id hate to be johnson co. come Aug. 28

that was a pretty exciting game. cant wait till we strap on the pads. i dont think unaka will be as lucky

i only saw a few of the games Unaka accuttly looked pretty good i think they had like 4 or 5 picks against cloudland, Cloudland looked good the 1st game i saw and looked awful at times against Unaka, Hampton looked pretty good but i didnt catch all of there 2nd game

I think they do start at around 6:30 or 7:00 friday against Cloudland. Not positive about that.

Hampton plays happy valley at 6:30 friday

Carter County teams must fill the endzones with muffins. #22 put up well over 400 yards and 6 td's against the 3 schools we played from up there last year. Ask anyone from Hampton , Cloudland , or Unaka and they will tell you that they are REALLY happy he graduated , and they wished #5 was gone. Our #5 is the best athlete in the region. We have had the best athletes for years just can't seem to ever have enough good lineman to put in front of em.

 

its a 3 horse race without a doubt. N.G. Hancock , and Unaka are outside peeking in.

please if we knew how to catch a kickoff we would have beat you 16-0 so dont even talk about #22

Hampton kids just dont know how much work it takes to be good or are just not willing to work like cloudlands kids were when Lunsford was here. Too many kids not willing to pay the price to be great. I am not worried about Hampton and Lunsfords new boys.

Boyd will be Big 1a and they will be in the same region as Marion Co and South Pitt. Very tough region all at once.

so that means that boyd will be in the same playoffs as Hampton?

Your right the 12 seniors from last year will be greatly missed . . . Oh well I guess the 16 returning juniors from last year that will be seniors this year have some big shoes to fill.

No need to talk big. Everyone knows what we've accomplished. Now don't get me wrong, I'll talk it up with the best of them, when I feel a program, or person, needs to cut it down a few notches. The only reason I signed up for these boards is because of that idiot from GCA last year (i've been reading them for awhile though).

 

But I agree that it has been going on for a while. I remember in '05. WOW!!! Hearing the "dog pound" on here, you'd thought we were being led to slaughter. Please!!! They didn't know what hit 'em. First play from scrimmage....bomb. The spread tore that arse up. I don't remember AT, or anyone else for that matter, talking too much about that game. It looks like after the great runs to the semi's, they might start figuring out that football west of region 1 is just a little different. Here's the good news though dog pound, if we meet this year, it won't be any spread offense. It's line it up, here we come, see if you can stop us.

 

Btw z-90, I wish I could have saw Byrd play. From the sounds of things on here, he was the real deal, but that was after my time (I was in college) and the year before my brother was playing in high school.

yes Byrd was prob the best player to come out of region one. yea i hated that guy from GCA that was on here last year

the signature is about taking it one step at a time. it dont matter who you are if you make it to the state semi-finals your pretty good and that should be an accomplishment. thats the goal i want the hampton bulldogs to make. im sure cloudland would have loved to make it to the semis three times in a row. worry about your own team
