  1. From what I've heard ,all 3 of these teams could be pretty solid, I think all 3 teams were a little chippy, I think Hampton may have got over theirs today, up downs works wonders.

Good luck to you guys during the season ,and thanks for the props.

    Yes They do

  2. Bulldog50, Why do you bash on everyone on Here. I think you need to concentrate on what your doing on the feild and quit worrying about coacht. Because Working hard on the feild is the only way your going to see playing time. So keep that mouth shut, stay off coacht and you might get to on in an actual game.

Emon i dont hate on every one here. just the people that dont belive in hampton football. dont worry about me ok it will all be fine

And TheCoachDoubleK im not trying to fight with anyone i just belive that you shouldnt start stuff about the coaches

Trust me lunsford still has it. he showed that at practice yesterday

Thanks DOGS69 for agreeing with me

  3. I guarantee Cloudland will be the best 1a team in their district! I know how Joe Willie must have felt. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

i dont think so. the way hampton looked at morresttown east i would say that hampton will take the confrence

  4. That is interesting. It will fallout based on east and west though. In the past, Trousdale and Friendship have been in the east brackets. Since they are in District 8 and Region 4, they is apparently still the case. Therefore, the East will have Oneida, Trousdale, Jasper, Boyd Buch. and Rockwood. The West would have TCA, Cascade, Humboldt, McKenzie, Mt Pleasant and Forrest. I took the liberty of adding Rockwood to your list.

    you forgot Hampton.

  5. Lunsford is still the same coach he was 20 years ago. Its the kids today who are pathetic cry babies mostly because their moms and dads are idiots. You heard it here first or did ya? /blush.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />

so you are going to set there and say that? what an idiot. you dont no anything. why dont you get you a life and quit hateing on kids today. sounds like your the cry babay

  6. Ive followed Mike Lunsford pretty close over the years and have been impressed with him. I have to say that I have some concerns after watching their scrimmage on Friday. The lack of discipline, the players behavior on the field, makes me wonder if Lunsford still has what it takes? His teams in the past wouldn't act like that.

lander96 are you even a real cloudland fan or are you just a hampton fan who is upset with the coaches. you just need to quit complaning and get a life.

What Is it you are talking About? I don't think you no what you talking about. Most of those wernt started by his players. So get your facts straight

  9. "Bulldog" you could be right on the money! You know how things cycle in H.S. Football Programs, but some programs just seem to allways be in the mix even durring ' so called "re-building" periods! /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

Yes you could have 2-8 record one year and go 10-0 the next. I am looking forward to be back in the mix

  10. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> "Powerp", TC has not lost a step! The have just "RELOADED" !!, They have been working hard ALL Offseason! (not pausing to enjoy the fruits of thier labor for a moment!, It was almost an afterthought! Instead they have focused on the weight room and the classroom!)Good luck to ALL the "kids" and Coaching staffs this upcomming season! Hope it is an injury free one! God Bless! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

Hampton will be back among the top ten. with a big line big backs and good coaches i wouldnt be surprised to see them in the state semi-finals agian

  11. Have to say Wayne County out of Middle Tenn. has a shot. They are loaded with talent and experience. Their schedule looks favorable. Lewis is rebuilding this year plus they get them at home. That would be one of the toughess normally. But not sure how Lewis will be this year. Wayne has a ton of Talent......this could and should be their year to make a run deep.

hampton should be a powerhouse this year.but I think there in the big 1A

  12. Looking pretty good. Gonna have some extra big bodys in the mix this fall from transfers (Coach Wilson's boy is one). I hear we might have a total of 3-4 transfer who are linemen but that is just the talk. That would really help depth wise

That will be this summer. We only play the one spring game

south pittsburg the only thing they have is a muffin team

  13. I heard Doug Phillips wasn't there, neither was Danny Mcclain ,but I think he missed alot last season because of his job. Doug has been a big part of the Coaching staff for many years.

yea they wernt there but some thing might have come up. too early to tell

  14. Gonna be a interesting year, From what I hear ,Cloudland should be the front runner. One of the Coaches told me they had several kids benching 300 pounds or better, said they only had 4 kids, including up coming freshman that was under 200 pounds. I just don't see any of the other teams being as strong.

I think Hampton will be better than they were a year ago ,but I think they only have 1 kid who can bench 300 pounds, Strong don't always win the prize ,but in football,it sure helps.

I know Cosby lost quite a bit from last years squad, but they seem to think they will be pretty strong again this season.

Unaka has alot of kids back ,should be fairly solid.

As far as Hancock and North Greene goes, someone else will have tell us what they will have.

One thing that Ilike about this year is , some of these schools have picked up some tough out of region games, Hampton probably has the toughest , Cloudland and Cosby are not too far behind them. Gonna be a fun year, good luck to all.

Hampton will take the confrence. dont matter how strong cloudland is

  15. Ok, So lets talk about the team. Our obvious strong point is going to be the big boys up front. and our weaker parts are going to be at the skill positions. I look for ward to seeing this years spring practice. A lot of questions will be answered when Monday rolls around. Don't be surprised if we see some changes on the field this year. I'm not talking about the coaches (although that may happen too) but more about position changes.

yes our strong point is going to be the line. but hopefully we can get a lot of more skilled postions players to keep other teams guessing

why did the cloudland guy get in here anyways

  19. Gonna have to respectfully disagree.......for some us, myself included, a little stint in Junior Pro was all it took to completely revamp a view on officiating.

I've had my share of T's, ejections and tantrums both as a player and later as a Junior League coach. Was not until I was "talked" into calling a 10 year old game on a Saturday afternoon that I fully appreciated the job. I left scared for my life....and I'm a grown man. Changed my whole outlook.

Ought to be on an episode of "Dirty Jobs".............I would rather hall hay in the middle of August!

Hat's off to those who are willing.........because I'm never doing it again.

    JMO

Refs are poons. thats all there is to say

  20. Cloudland? As good as they were when Lunsford was there? what a joke! They said the same stuff 3 years ago when we beat them 40-10 and 2 years ago when we put up 48 and last year when we put another 40 points along with over 400 yards rushing haha what a funie joke! we get our whole line back and a lot bigger running backs! lol three of our backs Our Taylor Edwards Who is 235 ponds and Lucas Teague who is 220 and Andrew Webb who is 185! and i think we might get 500 this year! plus Our line is Big! /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />

you need to start a cloudland thread that says "cloudland why does hampton stop their ###### every year?"
