Please pray for Coach Ricker, he found out that he has Cancer and for anyone that does not know him, he was in a serious boating accident 3yrs ago that took the life of his oldest son Neal and left him paralyzed from the chest down and now he has to battle Cancer. Please pray for him and his family , friends, and former players they are just devastated by the news. He finds out today what kind of Cancer it is and what they can do for him as far as treatment. Coach Ricker has recently dedicated his life to Christ and really desires each everyones prayers. God Bless

I find it odd none of the teams these girls play on made it to the state tournament, so this brings me to believe there are a few girls out there that should be on that list for Miss Basketball that are not. I think there are several good players especially out of the East that gets over-looked. Congrats to all the girls who made the list and good luck.

I can tell you this much if we had Ali Gardner on the Lady Rebel Team , I think they could play with anyone in any class. She plays wide open from start to finish and I love that. Good luck Lady Rebels. Oh yeah, don't forget your Redman LOL!

Rechelle Dye as you know your Mom and Megan Casteel's aunt is a two time State Champion at South Greene and you cannot let her out do you. LOL! So go down to the "Boro" and bring that Gold Ball back and make it a family tradition and I believe there is another little Dye sister that is coming up in a few years also. Could someone correct but isn't this THREAD's TOPIC about east TN teams breaking through and not let's kick Morristown West while they are down!!!!!!!!!!!! I know those girls are heart-broken. Coach Derek Dyer at South Greene continues to get a little better each game and a little louder, which I am glad to see. Just needs to get a little quicker on the time outs.

Not as Far East as South Greene and I think they have won 4 state championships and 3 runners-up. UHHHHHHHHHHHHH...

South Greene has one HUGE advantage the can go full force from beginning to end and I don't see the Lady Cyclones doing that. Mariah will have to play for the entire game full force and I have yet to see her play a full game yet. I don't see her getting up and down the floor at the speed South Greene plays. Lady Cyclones will have to slow the game down for them to pull off a win. Good Luck to both teams and God Bless.

I think the key to the game is South Greene's Shelby Hicks. She is going to have to get tough and make some big baskets against Mariah and play some nose to nose defense and South Greene will have to hit the boards hard and get it out and run, if they can press and run South Greene will make it a long night for the Lady Cyclones. However, if the Lady Cyclones control the boards and Dye gets in foul trouble it can be a long night for the Lady Rebels. Good Luck to both teams and may the best team win. God Bless

Rechelle Dye joined the 1,000 pt club Friday night at South Greene gym along with her 1st cousin Megan Casteel (Sr.) who also joined the 1,000pt club at South Greene Friday night. Congrats Girls!!

They have played GREAT TEAMS let's see gave Morristown West there only lost and lost in overtime to Wilson Central two very good AAA teams. I can't wait to see you congratulate them Coach 17.

Why I want to share yours.LOL I think the Lady Devils have a good young team, but they will have to play a perfect game and South Greene will have to get into foul trouble for the Lady Devils to pull off an upset.

Focus is the Key for the Lady Rebels. We know they will play hard from start to finish, but like Coach17 stated they cannot make mental mistakes and Lord knows I cannot believe I just agreed with Coach17 on something. LOL! Dye is the key she make the Rebels run with her leadership on the floor, but she cannot get into foul trouble. Hicks has to get tough and play as big as she is. She is so athletic and can jump out of the gym. She is going to have to get ready mentally, your going to miss shots get over and move on to the next play. Casteel , Ricker , and Kinser keep playing hard on defense, thats what wins games. Crum needs to get her BAD ATTITUDE in check and the Coaches need to do that if she can't because it will cost the Lady Rebels if she does not. Good Luck Lady Rebels!
