  1. You are right on that point, it's not ok to be happy with average. The talent that has gone through there in the last few years, FC should have finished better in district. Sounds like to me new director has looked into a few things and may make some changes for the better, anyone can tell you playing lesser teams will not make you stronger, you cant go playing single and double a teams and expect to be there in the end, when it matters.
  2. Heard the AD got fired as of today. Hope this team gets coach soon, someone with no local politics would be a good fit.
  3. Looks like 8AAA may be exciting to watch in the end of season. With the Franklin County team having 3 all district players they should be there in the end.
  4. does anyone know if they will be playing JV games and what time they start
  5. Dr Elrod did my daughters ACL also and like yours there are two scars, now 7 months later scars are still little pinker than normal skin color but fading, by summer dont think we will notice them at all. My daughter had hers done on June 6th of this year and tonight will be here first game back, took alot of hard work and determination and support from family, but love of the game outwilled all of it.
  6. you can reach Dr Elrod at Elite Sports Medicine
  7. My daughter is in the home stretch of an acl tear and the most important thing we learned is the more intense rehab you do before surgery the better you will be after, and do your therapy at home as much as possible. Ask yor surgeon plenty of questions so you understand up front what to expect, many people said she could be back in 3 or 4 months, she had surgery on June 6, 2008 and just now workin back in to practice, doctor told us up front what time frame to look at and we knew she would do nothing for at least 6 months. Her leg is very strong now and seems that her attitude is as strong as well. The more time goes the harder it gets but she realizes as a junior if she pushes to play to soon she could miss her senior year as well. Time heals all things mind and body which are both very important when playing sports. Good luck and a speedy recovery.
