  1. You must not have been around that long then. It is common place in a 3 WAY TIE that the team who has the best record against teams above them is seeded first. Once it is back down to two teams then it goes to head to head.
  2. Your first scenario is correct. Your second scenario is correct. Your third scenario is where there is some confusion amongst everyone. Typically with a 3 way tie is determined by how teams performed against higher seeded teams. In this case, Indy would have beaten Brentwood twice, which gives them the # 2 seed. Then it would go head to head with Franklin and CHS and Franklin would be the # 3 seed and CHS # 4 seed.
  3. After the first week, I told you the Eagles would be a contender because of Coach Moore. They take two out of three from the so called front runners in the district. I think the top 3 teams are Brentwood, Centennial, and Independence. This district is still down in talent from years past.
  4. Sportscenter just tweeted out the Buzzer Beater and it is now up for tonight's top 10. Awesome day for the school and that young man. Congrats.
  5. Someone needs to send that shot to ESPN. I bet it would make top plays.
  6. I agree with FootballDad. The original poster needs to realize Pearl Cohn is the exception to the rule. Most schools around the state may have 1 or 2 players in each class that can go play at the next level. Not every school in the state produces talent like that. Even some top tier programs don't pump out college prospects every year. So you can't judge a program's success based on number of players playing football at the next level.
  7. I know Clayton was not offered until late last week, Wheb you state it was a done deal it was not one. Shrader told Clayton he wanted him but central office had final say. You can pay yourself in the back if you want but my information about the situation was always true. All I know is that I got my information from the man everyone is congratulating right now.
  8. He may be putting a staff together, but I promise you no one has been offered the job. Clayton probably is getting everything together in case he is offered and he can hit the ground running, unlike at FHS where they are still putting a staff together. Like I said I would put a nice Ruth Chris's Steak Dinner bet on this FACT.
  9. The Fork is wrong along with sandpiper and workinprogress. No one has been offered the job, we are seeing the classic example of what is wrong with Metro schools. The central office wants a minority in the position (Law) while the principal of the school wants Clayton. All parties are in a wait and see mode. Shrader is finding out it is more difficult than expected to build a successfull athletic program at Hillsboro.
  10. What has Glover ever done except rack up losing seasons? Those 3 pitchers you have talked about haven't improved in 3 years under Glover, what makes you think they will step it up this year. Moore is by far the best coach in this district and he will prove it again this season. Keep counting the Eagles out, but don't be surprised if they make it to the region.
  11. Game Headed to OT as Clarksville player misses 2 FT with basically no time remaining.
  12. Hunters Lane vs. Clarksville
  13. Does Coach Glover know you are on here tooting your own horn? Sounds to me like you are a player. Like I said when was the last time Franklin had a winning season? Franklin has not won consistently since Glover has been coach. You never know what Rebel team will show up.
  14. They lost more than one player. Burdick will hurt the most, but some of their best JV players also are not at Summit. The losses I talked about was in regards to depth that has helped the Eagles the last 4 seasons. This season Coach Moore will not have that advantage. Coach Moore is still the best coach in the district. What has Franklin done the last couple of years that makes them the favorite? When was the last time they had a winning season? Franklin like the rest of the district doesn't truly have an ace. This district is up for grabs, because the talent is way down.
  15. This will be great exposure for both programs and the entire state.
  16. Like I said previously this district is down. The so called front runner,Franklin, has not had a winning season since their new coach has been there. If Coach Moore had not had his team gutted from Summit opening they would be the clear favorite again. It is really sad to see this once proud district fall in terms of talent. Also, yes at least one team will get to sub-state from this district because they will go up against a pathetic metro team.
  17. You didn't hear anything about the kid because he was starting at SS for a AAA state tournament team as a freshman. He transferred over to Summitt this year. Watch out for Summitt they will contend for the district possibly this year.
  18. Also what if the Maryland QB comes on board? If that is the case Patton won't see the field potentially to his redshirt sophomore season.
  19. I don't have Macon in the top 5 of these teams listed. Here are my top 5 out of this section. 1. CPA 2. Spring Hill 3. Giles Co. 4. East Literature 5. Cheatham Co.
  20. Buca Di Beppo in Cool Springs is a great spot for large groups and massive amounts of Italian Food. Drake's in Cool Springs is great for the adults who may want to get away for a few hours Sat. night. Tin Roof 2 has a great night atmosphere for those that love live music.
  21. You got to love Franklin's comments on commitments who backed away from Vandy on signing day as "men who lack honor and integrity", but he gladly let Patton walk on campus after he was already at UNC. This guy's ego will be his downfall. As Dooley said back in November, one thing UT always does is kick the @#$% of Vandy."
  22. No one listened when I spoke Some of you though it was a hoax The phone will not ring Until it is spring The admin team wants to make the right selection And this will require a thorough inspection Of all the candidates from near and far They will choose the one who is a well known star So let's wait back and wait and see Who will be given the blue and gold key.
  23. I am sad to say this district has hit a low point this season. Indy has been struck by the new school bug. Our recent success can be attributed to great depth and talent and both are very scarce this year. Franklin hasn't had a winning record under their current coach, Brentwood has not been impressive since their legendary coach was ran out of town. This district can be won by any of the Wilco teams. Luckily for them one will get to the Sub-State game just because they get to play a weak Metro team. The runner-up will have a chance at Overton this year as they will not be nearly as talented. However none of these teams would be a top tier team in the power conferences of AAA baseball.
  24. I have some friends that are coaches in and around the Nashville area and every single one of them has stated they have lost respect for CPA due what has happened there in the last couple of years. There may not be any illegal activities going on, but the perception is that there is. If there is CPA's time will come, just like BA's, MBA's, Grace Christian's and Signal Mountain's.
  25. From sources above I heard it will be spring Before any potential candidate will hear their phone ring The Admin team will be very careful To make sure the hire will be successful The question is who will it be I know many can't wait to see Will it be JD from the Bruins past Or will it be a new guy that makes the tradition last Let's all be patient as we all sit around Waiting to see who will make Brentwood their new playground
