Classic exzmple of tonights game with Elizabethton vs Happy Valley, bad calls on both ends but fans from other schools who were awaiting their game said Eliz got robbed! Eliz kids were knocked down and beat on most palys under the basket but couldnt get a call. Elizabethton had every chance to win the game but could not hit the shots from 3 to 6 feet inside.The game went to 3 overtimes with HV winning 50-48

I dont think I misunderstood anything,I was stating my opinion. I went to Eliz so you dont have to slow anything for me!

Do you have a clue who will suit up for Betsy next year? In no certain order, guards Wash,Hubbard,Oliver,Wandell and others.Wingmen,Birchfield, Ray,Thomas and others,post Demoss,Smith and hopefully HILL. Now, Im not saying they will beat SHHS or DB but I think this lineup led by Wash and Thomas can play with Hampton,HV or any other small schools. These kids are not dog meat! I know youre Hampton and Cloudland crazy and thats ok,I think they are good schools with good coaches and great kids but Eliz will not mail it in next year,they will compete!

I just heard about Hill leaving the Hampton program, it's sad that feelings were hurt and Hampton lost a very fine young man in Hill.They also have other fine kids in that program and Jerry White is a good man,maybe,JUST MAYBE, time has passed him by like we all know it has another very fine man who has done so much for HV basketball. I just wish that all coaches,preachers,teachers,doctors etc... would realize there is a time to hang it up! As a proud Cyclone fan, I would love to see Hill come to Betsy and continue his playing career and for you HV fans, I'm not recruiting him, just saying we would love to have him on a team next year that will lack big men inside. Hill could be a fine addition to Coach Streets team next year. He attended TA Dugger and knows most of the EHS kids and is friends with them. Come on HOME DYLAN! #44 will be open next year! I wish ALL carter County teams well.

bluedevildad, I understand your loyalty and your daughter would make Eliz a better team, she's very good and a good kid! I'm proud of her and know you are too,BUT YOu and I both know that Unicoi's post is not in MP's league,talent wise,come on now, think about it! You know your girl would look so good in orange and black!

krich, you a lot smarter than to say there are alot equal in this area to Len Dugger! NO COACH ,is as knowledgable of the game , although Jerry White and others are VERY good coaches. Len Dugger is a gym rat with the greatest work ethic Ive ever seen. Some like him, some don't but you can't deny his ability. And before you all start ragging Dugger, I said there are alot of very good coaches around here Im just saying in MY opinion, he's the best!
