Well let’s start this off with a question! Do officials have tenor? Watched two games at Clarksburg last night and it is obvious they should not be officiating a pewee game much less a district high school game! I was pissed how they called for all for teams it is an embarrassment to the game when you have grown adults put on a uniform and bow up like a Bany rooster and let games get out of hand as they did last night some will get hurt or a big fight will start because of the crap I and other fans saw happen last night it was a joke I’m totally embarrassed about this and wonder what could be done to take care of this problem.

Well let’s discuss the GAME this past Friday night!!! Union City has a good team! And it would have showed if the refs where not making the decisions in the game and let the kids play football. Dresden had 4 touchdowns called back one REF blew his whistle because he did not know who add the ball. Thank god the one ref over ruled the onside kick the tall ref tried to give to Union City. HMMMM wonder who that was (Martin). Now I don’t know if everybody has had ref problems this year but the North West Tennessee group is a joke. Get real this is just not saying they are against just DRESDEN. But there needs to be more of an effort to control the refs and their ignorance in the game!!!! NOW PLEASE DONT GET ME WRONG! We have had some excellent refs this year and do appreciate their effort to have games that are decided by the players and not because they have a grudge against a certain team. (MARTIN) and (GREENFIED) refs. Maybe the refs that I consider good will also make an effort to get control of the ignorance!!!!! Now I will say (MARTIN) ref done an excellence job MONDAY wherein the White hat!!!!! Wonder why that can’t happen every time you get on the field. GO LIONS!!!!!

Well, well, well I hope Dresden (we) are not taking West Carol lightly!!! I feel Dresden will win by (2 touchdowns), but we need to focus on the first and second quarter and play like we do in the forth!!!! Dresden has played hard this year, but we have had some major hiccups that have cost us one game and almost some others. One thing I will say, anybody on here can’t say this district is a push over there are several teams that where sleepers and come out to play football on Friday night! GO LIONS

(Hey swingjuice, good to put a face with the name. Anybody playing milan at home will be a challenge. Walking into the dogpound and hearing the Milan faithful and all the tradition that johnie hale stadium has been home to is always tough on any team. I wish that Westview had a stadium to have a tradition in. The only tradition we have is getting on a bus and going to skyhawk stadium and getting dressed in what I think is a visitors dressing room that says nothing about westview football. Thanks UTM........ Thanks to our weakley county school board to, for voting down a field for the kids a few years ago, and paying for land that Martin donated to UT. Now that I got that off my chest, may all the kids be safe friday night and let it be a slugfest. May the best team win.) Well let’s see UTM used the Martin softball fields this weekend at the complex to play their little tourney, wonder if they paid the $27,000 that all Weakley contains pay so one team can play 4 to 5 games a year, also UTM taking all the profits from the food sales, on the donated field, and the hard work the people of Martin went out to sell bonds to help UTM have a place to play!!!!!!!

Looking for a good game tonight!!!! Don’t think POTTS will drive that far to ref!!!!!!!!! One heck of preacher, but a jerk towards Dresden, and kind of feel sorry for the other team also. They don’t get the chance to see good game because of these crazy calls he made! Question if we have refs monitoring our players on the field who monitors’ the refs to make sure they are doing their job.

Well we are in the final week of the regular season. And I don’t know about any of you, I have no understanding of this new system for the playoffs I cant for the love of the game understand why a game in middle Tennessee has anything to do with a game in West Tennessee. Well I like to welcome the Gleason fans to the Mud Bowl of Dresden Tennessee if we get the rain they say we are going to get lord help us all. I will say this will be a good tight game, I’m going to give the lions the victory by (2) touch downs now something need to happen we have to hold on to the ball and then we need to cut back our penalties (stupid ones that is) hope for a good game and please give us refs that realize that this is a game of importance to both teams. When I get there and see whom the refs are I will be able to tell the outcome.

Well what a game I was surprised by the West Carol War Eagles had several big boy and a smash mouth running back. Dresden played a whole lot better than they have in the past few weeks I felt their attitude would change this week. I feel like they played with a lot better attitude more excited to play this game. Running the ball and our own smash mouth game very impressed. Now the refs I was surprised the first half I felt it was a good game the second half it went down hill we did have several late hit calls we deserved. Penalties almost killed us. I hope the young men that got hurt are doing fine. Next game (2) weeks. Go Lions

i will say this i have pbeen impressed with the refs the pass (2) weeks i feel they did a good job. 2 diffrent crews than what has been doing the game they were fair. no last week we could not hold on to a ball if it was duck taped to our hands and interceptions, it seemed like but im sure that problem will be worked out this past week in practice. if dresden comes to play tonight i feel it will be a good home coming for dresden and we will win by 2 touchdowns ond if it is a the team that showd up last week it will be we will win only by 3 point.

As we all say what the he?? i was very shocked about this game i figured that it would ahve been a 2 touchdown game for Dresen some turn overs, some laziness from dresden, some bogus penatlies and ref bad calls were the down fall of the lions, now if the head of the North West Tennessee supervisor was there then it was not justified to make the commit the ref were fair, (a joke). I would like to see some formal action be taken against these refs. I think it is time for Mr. McWright head of all West Tennessee Refs. step in and put a halt to some of these refs that are there to draw a check and not have a safe fair game with both teams. The white hat and the back ref called a game the night before at greenfield and i was shocked by there lack of knowledge of the game, almost like they have problem with Dresden, Fridays game was just as bad. Now before all you Halls Tiger think im trying to find a reason for us to have lost I will say i think Hall played one heck of a game very tuff defense and a good offense,and at anytime you could beat any team in West Tennessee. i wish you team the best of luck the rest of the year.

over the past few weeks we have had some good games and we have had some bad games. if our boys come to play, and the long trip doesnt bother them, it will be a good game and i feel Dresden will win by (2) touch downs. in the last game after getting fired up Dresden put on a clinic, but i feel they will need to play with this intensity through out the whole game. After reading all the stories this week on the game at Bruceton i agree with all the of the above. Refs sucked We didnt come to play maybe we thought it was a automatic win, i dont know but it is good to see all the fans coming out for the team something we havnt had in a few years. Now, i do know we are praying for the young man and his leg pray he has a strong recovery. i would also like to give a big shout out to the Bruceton consession stand we didnt have enough food for the boys after the game and they stepped up to the plate and helped us out. this was alot of class when you didnt have help us at all and we really do appreciate this.

Well it seems all the redick is flying again and we (Dresden Lions) have been prepareing all week for this game. With a strong front line protecting the q-b, and running backs that have the speed to carry the ball for long breakout touch downs, and by the way a defense that seems to be clicking on all 11 cylinders (a little pun) i hope it is a good game tonight we all know we like to see the tight games although the big blow outs are fun i wish both teams good luck and to show a little class i do pray for the boys and cheerleaders on both sides to have a sfe night and good sportsmanship.

Well GC Pioneer lets get all the story straight for sure! When your player got hurt I think all our players went to there knees, sidelines and all, and when he made his way around the back side of the field on our side applauded him and said we hope he is going to be OK!!!!!! as far as the trash i walked around with a trash bag trying to keep the mess at a minimum. I know for a fact that some of the mothers were the last to leave and picked up garbage as well. Now if we left any garbage at ALL, then I will apologize but don't exaggerate your story like the score was at the end of our game. I can't remember the score because we are past that game and moving on to the next team we play. It seems like you need to do the same RRRRRRROOOOOOOOAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!
