How is tHings going in Stewart county. I am sure with a new coach after so many years since a change to some it seems a lot different. Sometimes small change can make a Big difference. I hope all the players and coaches join in on a new approach and run with it and more good things happen at SC.

I do believe that this is a good choice. Haggard will bring a little different apporach on somethings and still do a lot of the same things. Everyones needs to get on board and take it to the next level.

If this is the direction they have choosen I believe that it is a great fit. Haggard was there a year ago and had the defense playing good. As for as the assistance goes I believe in the long run getting more years of experience will help in the long run. If everybody will look as this as a plus and not let their feelings get in the way it will all work out. Good luck to Stewart County and look at this at what it is and that is a new beginning.

Do not know the guy but he might be a little young to take over a 3a program. Might be ready for it who knows.

Are they going to hire someone this week. Would be good for the players to know who their coach is going to be before spring practice is over. I know you want to make what you hope is the right hire but most of the time you do not find out until a couple years down the road. Hopefully the hire will be soon and everything works out for the best for the kids and the program.

With this hire there is two choices. Hire the right guy who happens to be a good coach or hire a good coach who might be the right guy.

Word is past dc haggard would love to come back. He left thinking he was going out of the country for another job. Might be the right and best fit for the job. I think the players hated to see him leave.

I think both teams are like most teams at this time of year, banged up. Its hard to sit someone out unless they hurt more than banged up in high school football. Most teams do not have that much depth unless you are lucky. I think both teams come in with the mind set of winning if one gets up on the other enough you may see someone playing sooner than normal. SC needs to get healthy on offense and really needs to take whatever measure needed to to do this. I think this game may surprise some people how it plays out. Could be close or could be a mild upset, but who knows it is high school football and who knows what will be going on in the heads of high school age kids head at game time.

This may come down to who has the least injuries at this time of the season and as the other poster said it will come down to how much SC can pressure the QB. If given a little time it could spell trouble for SC. Hopefully SC can control the ball and limit Waverly's and their QB touches. Look for a close game but I think SC comes out ok in this one.

This game may be one that comes down to the last few minutes of the game. SC will have to keep from giving up a big play for touchdowns and not turn the ball ball over on offense. My question is who has the edge in special teams. I pick SC in a close and exciting game this Friday night.

I think SC is on a mission and I like their chances if they do not shoot themselves in the foot. It will be who can make a couple of big plays and who dodges some big plays. SC has to play lights out on defense and control the ball on offense.
