  1. Bulldozzzer, It seems very unethical to me that you would try to link a specific person with a codename until you know for sure it is them. This could be very damaging to their reputation and to their children, if they have any. What if you were wrong? You seem not to care.

My earlier comments about AAU was not to bash Coach Moore. I was not speaking of her older high school AAU team, which she so graciously took to allow those boys to have somewhere to play. I don't think she has ever had an AAU team playing 16U. I may be wrong but past history is that younger AAU teams of hers had very few kids on them, including the one this year, with boys that will go back to their county team in the fall rather than transfering to the middle school. I heard there was one this year, possibly. We will see if he transfers. Like I said, it is not her job to include everyone anyway. It is the fault of the administration for not having a central feeder program eligible for all kids, girls or boys.

Yes I will agree with you but there has been way to much bashing on a personal level by people who wish to hid behind a code name. She is a good coach and doesn't deserve to be bashed by someone with no first hand knowledge of her. If in fact this person from Hendersonville is who they say they are they should not be damaging a persons reputation by hear say from a friends friend. Everything I say on here is nothing I wouldn't say to a persons face. Most people know who I am. I wish nothing but the success for our HS sports programs and when you begin giving your opinion on hear say that you heard from a friends boy friend I felt that was going to far. Also there is such a thing as an IP address! I never named any names.

  2. TEAM is the answer to winning it is not who scored the most points I can bet you not one boy on the 16 and under AAU team can tell you who had the most points this weekend but they can tell you they won 2 lost 1 and should not have lost it . Coach Moore has been fighting battles for my son since before he was in middle school the three city schools don't have a 5th grade team and had no place to play except jaycees Coach moore helped change that now they can try out for the middle school 6th grade team (yes I am a so middle school CULT parent except my son is in highschool now) I have talked to Coach Moore she did not apply so no one should worry that she will be the Highschool coach .What we should worry about is Giving the new coach who ever that is the Respect a highschool coach deserves I heard nothing but negitive about both Coach Alan and Ryan Smith how its a different world that your son won't like it well its still basketball my son still loves it . Respect starts at home if you run a coach down will your kids respect them I dout it how can you expect your kids to play for someone they don't respect Warren County is Warren County city county devide is just crazy Thankyou Coach A.Smith Coach R. Smith Coach Moore ,Coach Sullins Coach Panter ,Coach Wilson you have all done a great job in helping make my son the player he is today

Fantastic post! My son thinks a lot of Alan Smith, and Coach Moore. Exactly! The boys that are in 9th and 10th grade this year have a lot of respect for each other and are friends. They think of each other as a team.

  3. Wrong answer friend. What are you some kind of detective? I don't have a kid in your school system. My three kids are young and go to private schools in middle Tennessee where we don't have the garbage you people deal with as evidenced on this site. I was at the AAU tournament in Franklin and saw for myself the team on the court. Like most sports minded people, I asked who certain players were and was told who they were and where they went to school. I was also quite impressed with their coach and how she handled the boys. I have a good friend who is dating one of the Dibrell coaches and that's how I know so much about their team. When they're together he goes on and on about how well they are doing, and quite honestly tells me more than I want to know.

And if you must know, I referee basketball and see first hand alot of what is being talked about on these sites. I've been around a long time and am pretty close with the TSSAA. I also know all about Coach Moore's past and it's not very pretty. I have seen her coach and agree she can get it out of her team. But there is more to coaching than wins, losses and game day. Somewhere respect and character must come into play. The way your athletic department has been run over the years is the joke of the day in these parts. You would think you people would get tired of being made fun of.

Ok what ever you say but you sure do know a lot of names to be a no body from somewhere else. Your Dibrell spirit is a little to much for me and you couldn't possibley be an impartial ref. Maybe you should stay on a thread close to home. I'm tired of ours closing all the time! Also don't recall ever playing in Franklin only been in 2 tourneys so far and neither were there! Maybe I am a detective LOL

  4. Goboom I agree with a lot that you have said but the AAU team that she has is made up of a kid from Boyd, 1 from Jaycees, 3 from Van Buren County and a few that were at Dibrell and Morrison so to say there is no mix is false. Her younger team has kids from every corner of Warren County, Morrison , Eastside, ect. It's good to have a mix.

  5. Now that I think about it, there are 3 girls that start on the varsity from Dibrell! Excellent players and 2 of them were Freshman this past year. The future is looking brighter at WCHS, thanks to the athletes Dibrell are putting in the system. Hillbillies rule!! SKEEEEWWWW!!!!!

It's taken me a while to figure out exactly who you are? Thought you were an admirer from Hendersville? Don't you think your opinion would be better served on the girls site since your son is to young to influenece an opinion about Moore! You have never had any dealings with her. By reading your past post it's real easy to figure out who you are. She is a great person and coach. I don't think she has applied, so there is no need for all this bashing! Look yea their are kids from all over the county that are great players and your daughter is one of them but this needs to stop. When your playing for Dibrell you should be a fan of purple, but when you move up to HS you need to be a red, white, and blue fan. Dibrell is elementry. So to the guy who started this thread if you want to know why they keep closing it JUST READ PREVIOUS POST> Nitro said it right their are alot of talented kids that are on the 15 and 16 AAU team and they all get along really well and respect each other no jealousy there, that mix with a good coach that can inspire them to win and respect them as people should be successful. These kids mesh well some are great shooters, some great rebounders, all of them have speed, and they are having a blast playing together again. Really all a coach needs to do with that group is let them play and keep their spirits up and they will produce a win! By the way we are all Hillbillies, 12 mile geography change doesn't matter. Whoever the new Coaches are they have a good group of boys & girls to work with so just let it be. Let's talk about a new future for the Pioneers. and act like christains.

  6. I just thought I would let everyone know that Coach Moore has not appliied for high school job. She is very happy at the middle school and will continue to do a fantastic job teaching and preparing these young men for the next level.

That's to bad she would have made a wonderful coach for the boys. the kids and parents love her. It's sad that people that have never had a player coached by her would be on here slamming her!

  7. Pioneer14 I'm a parent of one of the boys that you guys think should be ashamed. I'm just proud that he has stuck it out and not quit. My son loves basketball and I'll support him in anything he loves to a point. Every once in a while you'll see that winning spark come back but it doesn't last long because as soon as you score, foul, or !!! Your on the bench. These boys have been humiliated to death their minds are tired. They practice 6 days a week and believe it or not most of them are at the Civic center playing on Sunday. That's love. They have what is most likely their last game of the season Friday against Siegel. Know one is expecting a win but if they can put out the effort and heart they did in the last game they played against Siegel I will be a proud parent no matter the ending score.

  8. Why don't one of you Freshman parents take stats and pics and email um to the paper Guy! There's no shame in that. Freshman have never gotten much coverage in years past. Im sure he would be happy to write a winning article for once. Heck all the coach has to do is give him an update after your game. Im sure someone has his cell. I really don't think he should have to drive out of town too cover it. Good Luck tonight! We all hope you come out the winner!

  9. you played siegel's jv team!! lol hammonds only played the first quarter dur to the flu and had 15 points!!! how has the coach not been fired?? 2 district wins in 6 years....terrible.

That's a bit harsh I do recall hearing Tate, Mitchell,Gooch, Ellis and Nicholas names anounced over the radio! Are they JV too? For your info boroballer we don't have a JV they are combined with Varsity and everyone plays off our bench good or bad. How many of your boys play in every game? Our boys do the best they can, you have a great team i'll give you that but it's sad you feel you have to come on WC tread and rub it in! Maybe we would do a little better if we only played our top eight players but that just ain't the way it is. You have some real ISSUES !!!!!!

  10. Wow what a game the Pioneers had last night against Siegel!

All though we came out 15 points shy at the buzzer, they must have played great.

Wish I would have been there, J.Walker even got a little gitty on the radio.

Sounded like the Pioneers got so fired up last night they nearly cleared the bench,

after Kyrie was intentional shoved resulting in a double technical.

The pioneers out scored them by 8 points in the 4th. Final Score 89-74 in Siegel??™s favor.

Great job boys! Nitro I think Swami will have to look in his crystal ball a little harder next week. LOL

    Best third and fourth quarter all season. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

    ..............Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 Final

    Siegel...... 18 29 24 18 89

    W County 12 16 20 26 74

  11. I was very proud of the way the team played last night @ Sparta. Cameron Bond had his best game to date. The Pioneers played hard and had the lead @ the half and for most of the second half until the officials decided to take over. Questionable calls is an understatement. The worst officiated game I have ever seen in my 40+ years. Not taking anything away from the Warriors, they have a very good team. I just would have loved to see this game played out by the teams.

    I agree with everthing you've said Nitro. They all played great /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> . Cameron was on fire!

  12. Blackman 67 Warren County 41 ???? What's up with that ??? No way, we should get beat that bad by Blackman.

    Blame it on BUSH! If we can't win but four games with last years 6'9" Weitzel, Donta, Officer, and Daniels we can't expect miracles. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

  13. Ok let me say some really great postings! Took me all day to read them. After hearing about this sight I decided to check it out, and find out what all the talk around town is. I also read the letter that everyone is speaking of. I think changes are coming from what I have heard in the gym tonight. It really disturbs me to find out whats happening behind closed doors during half time and at practices. Are these Coaches not also Teachers? Is there not a good code of conduct they need to follow? I can understand a little slip of the tounge once, yelling that's expected. I can just hear the kids laughing "Did you hear what coach said". That's ok mistakes happen, but there is just no excuse for the F word on a regular bases if infact that is whats happening. Its a school team for gods sake. These aren't grown-ups in the NBA getting paid millions to play. They do it for the love of the game the ones that don't love it stopped playing in 6th grade. The kids are supposed to learn from your example. What are they teaching our students at WCHS to curse and brake out in an uncontrolable rage. The letter also speaks of projectiles being thrown. Not smart Coach! Sounds like a lawsuit waiting to happen. On the boys sight someone mentioned the 3rd quarter killing us, well thats after half time people. WHAT EXACTLEY IS GOING ON BEHIND CLOSED DOORS? Very disturbing indeed. As far as having closed practices I see no problem with that. At that age that's expected. I for one wouldn't want my mom or dad hovering over at the gym. But a Coach should be trust worthy enough to mentor our kids, and teach them team work, motivate them, and inspire them to win. A coach has to be a teacher, preacher, mother, father, and mentor all wrapped up in one package for 2 hours a day 5 days a week. I understand they don't get paid a lot for coaching but if they are doing it for the money their in the wrong line of work! Sorry this was so long but I had a lot to say.
