  1. Slusher played big down the stretch but how bad was he from the line... I think he missed 4 or 5 free throws in the fourth quarter alone. A.C. was just as bad at the end, Cross with wide open miss from within 2 ft and Rorex misses a break away... some bad basketball at the end for both teams until Rorex ended it.
  2. As an AC fan the refs were terrible.... what about Rorex getting mugged in front of the Grace bench or Longmire under his own goal, AC players were waiting for fouls that were happening but were not being called. There was plenty of blown calls both ways but that called that gave AC the ball back was pretty bad.
  3. I see what you are saying, but there is no way anderson co. should be losing to clinton two times this year. This is as down as the clinton program has every been in the last ten years. Unless you are close to the program i would say most would struggle to name their starting five. They have no more big names like Dye, Dixon, or Morris leading them.
  4. He won't have to trade for anything. He is on track to win both.
  5. I could be wrong but did Walden ever win a district MVP, Rorex did. He was also the first unanimous selection for that award. I think i would rather have Rorex, just my opinion.
  6. Some people on here have talked about Catholic being better without Walden and Conaty. Well just maybe the Mavs will be a better TEAM without Rorex and Longmire. Both have played since their freshman year and have made some pretty big plays over that time. Its hard to count the times that Rorex has taken over and carried this team to victory. Longmire has also stepped of in huge games to carry the Mavs also like A.E. and Fulton of his Jr. year. But over the past four years the two have them have made their fair share of mistakes and forced some terrible shots. So who is to say after these two are gone this team will come together as a team?
  7. well i heard the Mavs fell a little short tonight. Was not there, what happen? Maybe Jimmy Dolan can tell us?
  8. Thanks, Thats what i was saying the whole time. How can you be a better team with out Ryan Walden. All State player gone, but you are a better team, make no sense to me! He has been around the district for a while now, so he might know something we dont. I think the rolling of the eyes and attitude problems at A.C. go beyond your normal high school teams. I just wanted to know how far can this A.C. team go, or will they end up like all the teams of the past, one or two and done in the region.
  9. I just dont see how you can be a better team without a first team all district performer like Ryan Walden. He was with out a doubt a better back court player than any they have now! So how can you be better without your number one scorer, shooter, assist man, and best basketball player, please tell me that?
  10. They have not won a game they should not have won (being the underdog) Ex. Fulton and A.E.- yes, both are very good teams but A.C. should not lose by a combined 54 to those two teams in 2 games. They have lost 2 games they should have won. Ex Clinton and Grace- Yes, Grace is good but they are single A, as talented a team A.C. has they should not being losing to single A teams, Agreed? No reason they should have been down 13 to Catholic heading into the 4th. They play with no passion or want too.
  11. You are right a loss to an already 10 loss Clinton team, (another game in which terrible shot selection played a huge role) They have a 30 point beat down by Fulton and a 24 point thumping and the hands of AE. Anderson County will make is to the same point they have made it for the last 6-7 years. They will lose in the 1st or 2nd round of the region.
  12. I would not go as far as to say catholic is a "pretty darn good". I would say average at best. They have a pretty good big but not too much in the back court with Walden gone. I think that you would agree at the Catholic is down compared to years past. It just seems Wallace has very little respect from his players, you can often times see players roll their eyes in the huddle and just bad body language from them.
  13. Played bad for 3 quaters against the hated fighting irish and put it together in the 4th. Team just seems to play as 5 players on the court, not as a team. NO togetherness and seem to be out for ones best interest, not the teams. They take 6-8 terrible shots a quater whether its longmire pulling from deep or rorex forcing shots up, cross seems to flick it anytime he want also(never pretends to play defence). Never the less they also seem to pull it out when they need one. How far can they go?
