How can you sit there and say D2 is more skilled than D1 there is just no way i wish there would be a state Champions tournament so D1 could finally shut up these D2 guys.

There are several things that need to happen with D1 schools VS. D2 schools like Bradley v. Baylor that is a match that has needed to happen for a long while and Most Def. i would love and i know everyone else would love to see D1 State Champs against D2 State Champs

Better programs more competition more schools harder state tournaments i mean there are a couple really good D2 programs besides Baylor being an absoulute Power House D1 is just more superior in my opinion but again that is my opinion so dont go getting all upset off at me because i know other ppl feel different

You guys dont give D1 the credit it deserves personally D1 i think is way tougher with alot better competition

yeah i mean my season just ended and i already miss it but def. yeah im doing aau and i will be trying to find a college with a good club team thanks

Yep im a senior and it stinks i wish i could do it all over again from my freshman year but yeah i will be wrestling in the AAU national tournament in a month and a half i think its in iowa or something like that but yeah thanks anyways lol

hahaha nice yeah kinda upset about it tho i mean i lose to him by a point fracture my foot in regionals and i miss state by a match that went into the 3rd OT and there were some calls that were very ques. and look wat he does kinda upseting to me but hey its the crual humor of this sport but yeah nice hahaha

Obviously everyone missed a big sleeper in joe shipley from MW doing damage and almost makeing a huge upset to the second seed congrats

Yeah he was a big sleeper this year at state makeing a huge impact at state and almost upseting the 2nd seed Sinsheimer (Ind) and only loseing to him by a point. but anyways i remember wrestling him this year and loseing by a point each time he is a very strong and smart wrestler best of luck to him in his 5th and 6th place match and way to go out with a bang ur senior year congrats

All i got to say is how about Shipley at 152 from MW coming out of no where and makeing a statement at state and almost upseting the 2nd seed Sinsheimer (Ind) i think that is pretty impressive best of luck to him in the 5th and 6th place match and way to represent region 1

you forgot Joe Shipley from MW, 152 he has the chance to upset his kid if he doesnt take shipley serioulsy ive wrestled shipley and that kid is strong and a very smart wrestler so good luck shipley give them heck

he was at 112 and he got upset big i am surprised myself

I want to say congrats to mark erwin at 160 for the huge upset of taylor dixon of independence he is a returning 6th place finisher at 160 from last year

At 112 there is a big sleeper who i am still wondering y he is in that category but Adam Mann took Mat King into the 3rd OT and got robbed of a take down to win the match. At 160 Cruise from SHHS is a big one the look out for and also Mark Erwin of DB. And last Xavier King and 171 from TN High a very dominate and physical kid who can do some damage

Can someone plz inform me of wats happening down there or tell me when tssaa updates the brackets thanks GIVE THEM heck REGION 1!!!!!!!!!

O and to all my friends from other teams in the region i got my xray results yesterday for my foot i fractured 2 small bones in my left foot in my semi finals match agaisnt shipley nothing big ill be good in 4 weeks and thanks to those who showed concern good luck REGION 1

Thank you again for that comment "one of the best matches i've ever seen". because it was the best and hardest match i have ever been in, in my entire career. i give my respects and wish Riley the best of luck in the state tournament because Riley as a soph. earned every bit of a chance to go to the big show this year. I also want to thank everyone who helped make that an exciting match believe it or not everyone as spectators helped make that an amazing match. I also want to thank my coach's for being there for me after the loss and thank the Science Hill Coaches for there sportsmanship and there natural instinct on coaching to pull me aside after the match and congratulate me on my performance it ment the world to me i am heart broken and sad to know that that match is my last High school wrestling match of my life but i am glad and wouldnt want anything more out of a final match of course except for a win lol hahaha but seriously Thanks again to Riley for that match and i wish him the best of luck this week along with the rest of the Regional qualifiers go give them heck region 1.
