  1. I wouldnt call that a dumb move walking Sisco if first base was open..Bowers is good enough to make them pay but i dont think it was a dumb move

true. i wasn't aware first base was open. i didn't get to make it to the game. that does make more sense. i guess they just had to pick their poison

  2. First off if you're were going to invade the "Buro" you never got to this game (Here's a hint it's spelled MurfreesBORO) therefore it'd be known as the Boro. Secondly I'm glad you took the time to put your cocky little rant on here so everyone can see how ignorant you are (baseball is played for a reason). Thirdly, your boy Miller threw a complete game 5 hitter (you finally got something right) but one of those hits put a four spot on the board. Next, I want to know how Coach Parker hasn't figured out he's with the big boys (let's see Riverdale, Lebanon, Oakland, Coffee Co., Siegel, need I continue?). And Finally, the title doesn't go through anyone unless they make the championship game (everything else is just a What If!). The other bracket doesn't have to deal with you unless you make the finals!

So here's what I propose to you... Why don't you watch the games, heck even make a prediction or two, but leave the cockiness and attacks out of it. The game is played for a reason, because NO ONE can predict exactly what will happen! So if you want to say Indy wins 6-1 on a CG, 5-hitter from Miller; do that, but don't ever say anything about the other school, especially if you're gonna call someone out (karma bites hard!)

By the way... Blackman wins 5-3... good game Blaze!

Go get 'em tomorrow! Go Blaze!

And best of luck Indy! You have a good team... I just hate people who get ahead of themselves! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

nice blackman way to go. who hit the grand slam?

  3. What time is it?

It's time for the Eagles and Indy Nation to invade the Buro. All season I have been telling all you haters that Coach Moore and the Eagles are the best team in the state. All my predictions have been correct. We have sent home the hasbeens (Franklin), the wannabes (Overton), and the never beens (Clarksville). We are on a mission to show the entire state that the title comes through Indy. Lee, Miller, Carden, Rowe, and Company will not be denied.

First Game- Miller throws complete game 5 hitter and Indy wins 6-1. Go ahead and put it on the board yes.

Coach Parker and going to find out he is playing with the big boys now. No one messes with Indy. No one. Time to Prove It!!!!!!!

you honestly think your boy can hold blackman to 5 hits and only one run? i dont think that has happened to them all season. you have somethin else comin. blackman swings it just as good if not better than anyone in the state. hands down.

  4. that team if FULL of talent. they have great pitching and can hit anyone. i look forward to watching them play as much as i can, and i see them going deep into the state tournament.

  5. when the brackets came out for the tournament i was disappointed that lebanon was in ours for this reason here. they are a good team and can hit 1-9 GREAT TOURNAMENT and good luck to you guys remember the season didnt end when you beat RIVERDALE it just begun now go to state...WHY NOT !!!!

thanks riverdaleman, we enjoyed it over at riverdale! that last game had everyone on their toes the whole way through. both teams did an outstanding job of fighting back and luckily we were able to come out on top of it. good luck to yall in the years to come, looks to me that yall will returning a bunch and will still be one of the teams to beat next year! its been fun in 7AAA.

  6. Well I can tell you that while everything is being done to get Blackman's field into shape, we really are yet to figure out the mystery of why it randomly holds water. And just knowing the way the field acts and what I heard about it on saturday, I'd be inclined to say that with all the additional rain today that even Monday is now in very serious concern. But hey the positive is we all got to go to prom last night. So now it can quit raining anytime! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />

lol lebanon's prom is this saturday, and judging by the weather its lookin like we might still be in the district tournament at that time. but as long as we get the games played in time i couldn't care less about prom. lets get this tournament going.

  7. Oakland has a nicer field than a lot of colleges. But, all of the Murfreesboro fields are great. Probably the best quality of fields in a single city. Even MTCS's field looks pretty good!

usually i would agree with you, but this year oakland's field looked pretty bad. the infield was decent, but the outfield looked much worse than normal. i think including the overall playing field, as well as the stands and concessions and the whole park in general, lebanon's field was the best in that district this year. they improved the playing surface a lot to where it could probably beat most of the fields in the state. the park was already one of the nicest.

  8. if the host fields were too wet and another field happened to be playable would games be moved to another location in order to get them in? cause i know they have to be played by a certain time and i heard a rumor riverdale's tarp might have some holes in it. does it still work good? the last thing we need to have happen is not get to play any games b/c their field isn't playable.

  9. No where near best in mid-state kid got cut from hit after hit summer team in favor of Luke Fennel, Connor Moore, and Scott Lynn so there is three that are better according to one of the best summer teams in the state.

u obviously dont know what you're talking about, cross never tried out for hit after hit, he played for tn thunder. and if you think those guys are better than cross, you are crazy. lebanon's backup catcher who now is playing outfield tried out for hit after hit.

  10. I've seen alot of these guys ... but dexter cross from Lebanon is the best i've seen so far.

no doubt about it, cross is at least the best in the mid state and probably more than that. 1.7 pop time and was leading the team in RBI's.

Maybe it's a misprint. I heard Blackman and Riverdale battled it out for the district title, that Oakland finsihed like .500 in it. Is there any way they still beat Smyrna 11-0? Just asking in a nice and civil way. No need to start a flame war here.

wouldn't surprise me, oakland isn't a bad team and now that smyrna lost sonny gray they aren't a good team. he is the only reason they were a name mentioned the past couple years.

  12. now i couldnt tell but my son his hand came off the bag and i would say that our player being called out at second cost us 2 runs because the second baseman threw the ball to third thinking our runner at second was safe and threw the ball away

i think both were bad calls, but the one for lebanon hurt worse because right after that, hudson hit a single that would've scored harrison easily to win the game.

  13. it was one of those games that no one deserved to lose we just got the break we needed. The defense played well all night for both teams

yeah the break yall got was harrison being called out at second in the 7th inning. pretty sure the umpire blew that one. it could've been a make up call from earlier though. that just seemed like too obvious of a play and horrible timing to be making a make up call. but oh well, if blackman wins today lebanon and riverdale should hopefully get to meet again in the tournament.
