Not having a photographic memory.......i don't know when all county teams last played each other in the same year.....i also can't recall the last time Rockwood DIDN"T play all the other county teams............High School Football Database only has Rockwoods schedule back to 2000.....OS back to 1997.....if you know of another website that goes back farther,please let me know.....i would like to look it up.....also,this top 5 SOS for the last 7 years.....where do you get this?? I'd like to look this up too.....just looking i don't see where OS's schedule has been any tougher than Rockwoods

This mess started back in early Feb. in the Rockwood Tigers thread.JetPride posted Rockwoods schedule and i simply ask why we still play Wartburg and not OS.......... You can't much blame Oakdale for that.....no way they finish 1st or 2nd in that district........only 1 auto playoff bid for 3 teams.......they need some out of district wins for a wildcard.....Harriman would be an almost "for sure" loss.Give Coalfield credit for not taking the easy way.

The confusing thing, to me, is why drop the other county teams now when, IMO, OS was about to become competitive again.There's a lot of talent in what will be 9-11 grades next year, that was always competitive in LL and MS.I'm not trying to bash OS......i think OS could give Oneida a run for their money in the next couple years or so,but dropping Rockwood,Hairrman,And Kingston now makes little sense.

If i understand.....the playoffs for your district will look like this: there are 4 2A teams.......2 will get automatic bids there are 3 1A teams.......1 will get an automatic bid unless 2 1A teams finish 1st and 2nd in the district,then 2 1A teams get automatic bids plus the top 2 2A teams any of the rest could get wildcards see.......this isn't confusing at all /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />

True........O.S. started a lot of Fr. last year and beat Wartburg 26-0.........O.S. will most likely start a bunch of Fr. and So. this year....but will be better than last year.....the starting RB at O.S. is from Rockwood......and O.S. is a Roane Co. team......just looks like a more natural choice to me

Not sure who other teams lost from last year.....but thats a tough 3 game start........anyone know why we kept Wartburg and droped O.S.?
