  1. Ravenwood is full of great players who step up at different times to get the job done...
  2. How did Indy do against Riverdale last night? Before you go off on me - here are the games so far this year: Indy beaten by Riverdale Ravenwood beaten by Siegel Ravenwood beaten by Blackman So, If I were to pick a District to be in, I'd pick yours if I were any of the above mentioned 7AAA teams. They seem to beat up on themselves over there. Someone earlier said something about Franklin/Ravenwood/Indy being the District 11AAA front runners - they would be a middle of the pack team in Murfreesboro. It's not a slam on your district but also 7AAA gets watered down after you split school zones - will we ever see a super team like the Oakland teams in the late 90's again? Ravenwood beat Riverdale, swept Franklin and is currently 6-0 in the district...
  3. Where was Franklin during the state tournament last year? Oh yeah at home where they will be again this year. It's gonna be Independence and Ravenwood running away with the 11-AAA this year, Indy is loaded with pitching, and has good overall hitting Ravenwood is loaded with hitting, weak spot in pitching Brentwood has 3 great players who will win some games for them Franklin is fundamentaly sound
  4. Ravenwood Beat Father Ryan 12-1, Brentwood Academy beat Ravenwood 5-0
  5. Who does franklin have besides little and sistrunk?
  6. Quite honestly, how is that fair? In the class of 2011, the better players go to the public schools. Interesting concept? please do explain the fantastic class of 2011 players who go to bga or ba?
  7. there are many more d1 "prospects" then that in williamson county... jake little, brian miller, dylan toscano are all for sure d1 prospects...but here is a breakdown of 2011 class who could potentially play d1 Ravenwood Richard Carter Chase Denton Ian Kukowski Andrew Cash Franklin Jake Little Independence Dylan Toscano Brian Miller Adam Lee Jake Todd Brentwood Tyson Ashcraft Might ruffle a few feathers but BGA and Brentwood Academy will be fielding teams this year also. Both are in Williamson County. I suspect both teams will be in the running for the DII baseball title. There probably will be a few prospects on those respective teams. Quite honestly, how is that fair? In the class of 2011, the better players go to the public schools.
  8. independence and brentwood are the teams to beat...but everyone is counting ravenwood out.....they will surprise people.

  10. I would have to disagree with you. I obviously gave my opinion on this kid before. He always knows what to do and makes some plays behind the plate that really make you wonder how much upside he has. He's big and athletic, just like Brentwood's Ryan Shelton. Seeing these two on the same field will be a lot of fun to watch. Kukowski is a good player and by no means do i want to take away from his ability but him and Shelton shouldnt even be seen on the ball field. last year shelton lead the district with 12 dingers and i believe the new school record at brentwood. and defensively shelton got clocked at 90 mph and i dont think that Kukowski comes near there. should be another tough season for the district as always I agree Shelton is a stud, but you can't say Kukowski doesn't belong on the same field as Shelton when Kukowski hasn't had a chance to prove himself yet.
  11. Jake Todd is nothing special at all...His pop time may be that good but his arm is not good enough to consistantly get the fastest baserunners out...I also have never seen him hit the ball out of the infield much less drop a "good number of bombs". He's a good player but come on...no way a consideration for best AAA catchers.
  12. I have heard from reliable sources that 96.7 percent of people who go to farragut are gay.
  13. Ian Kukowski is an absolute stud behind the plate for the Raptors. Very good pop time plus he has got a cannon. Don't run on him thats for sure
