The Greeneville High Marching Band won the Chattanooga Choo-Choo Classic at Hixson High School Saturday evening. Greeneville took top honors in the their classification and also the Grand Champion for most points amoung the 13 bands competing. They'll be back on the field at Volunteer on Friday , then compete at Seymour Saturday. Always tough Cleveland will probably be there as well. GREAT JOB!!!! [Edited by Challenger on 9-29-02 1:45P]

There have had a very good summer. The ones you are talking about are no doubt , Megan Lyons and Nakeisha Manuel. Both were freshmen. Lyons is the sister of Brigham Lyons , who was an all-state football player at Greeneville and played at MTSU. The other starters were not freshmen , but they lost only one senior starter.

Gentlemen , please keep in mind...Greeneville could be playing in a lower classification but has always chosen to play up and has been competative.

Not a lot of players going both ways this year if everything works out. Greeneville has more bodies this year than last.
