Coach dodgen filling in at AD is one of the best things thats happened in CCHS in a long time, this can only be a positive for athletics at CCHS. Nobody believes that the football can make the playoffs?

I heard about this kid down here in Cannon county, heard he was pretty decent. He has a match with our #1 Aaron Hollis, should be a very good match.

You are right, there will be a little sloppiness, but from all that I seen, the plays are going smooth and all the players are getting along with all members of the new staff, the only new staff member the boys had to get used too, is Coach Shrenk, Griswold,Larson, and bernie were members of bartschs staff and daniels is from cannon county and many of the boys know him. I agree on the depth part, bottom line we need more kids and i like the point you made about the kids who didn't like bartsch and didn't respect him, should come back and give it another try with a new coach, if they let one coach make them dislike football that much, they were never a real player. But wildcat, if you make it to the maroon and gold game, come and talk to me and let me know what you think.

Is spring practice over? If so how did that go and if not when is it? How are things going down in Jamestown?

Good news, they quaterback that had a compound fracture is back and throwing well. The only negative thing I see at practice is the lack of players, depth in the roster is very important. There is no problem with any of the coaches trying to get kids to come out and play football, it's part of there job to recruit. And yes all the kids i've spoken to love the new coach, it's nice to see the kids smiling at practice and beingn happy to come to practice rather then to dread coming to practice. Spy don't worry, the boys are working really hard. Hope to see you at the maroon and gold game.

yes he was, I noticed at the softball game he was but unforuantely the number of around 35 dropped to 22 at practice the other day, still there is many kids out for other sports and a few out for academic problems.

Lastnight practice went very well, and in my opinion the idea of the spread is great, I was suprised at how well the drills were ran. There's many formations that can be ran that I saw yesterday, so it's really going together great, and not a large number of kids out there, around 35 to 40, and about 10 kids were out for other sports. I also saw the defensive cordinator on the field so thats a positive and the only bad news from yesterday was our 2nd string qb and one of our recivers, got a compound fracture to his pinky finger which requires surgery.

Spy, The defensive Cordinator is back for sure. I personally spoke with him last saturday at the teams first offical team meeting.

I like what you said here, I competelly agree. We don't have tons of athletes, like most teams in our district and on our Schedule. We'll have to be perfect with the plays, formations, techinques, and so on. I also liked how you said if the defenses don't get lined up and make the right adjustments, it can be very easy to make a big play. This Saturday the coach touched on having a very very high pase offense and we will never huddle.

Your right not much enthusiam in Cannon County right now, it's not usual that nobody is posting, espically in 2 or 3 days. But the quaterback coach will be Joe Patterson, same guy from last year. Coach Shrenk will also help since he's installing a whole new system and knows most about the system. Everyone in the commuinty will have a chance to see the spread being ran at the Maroon and Gold game Saturday, May 16th at 5pm. Now everyone can finally decide whether or not the like the idea of running the spread.

Good news, today was the first offical team meeting and it went quite well. And in the first post I want to say. COACH BERNIE IS BACK AND IS OUR DEFENSIVE CORDINATOR.
