East lost by 8 score 20-12,take away 1 busted play and it would been a tie game. East played better than I expected.

East Middle School Dominates every year. Dont point your finger at the MS coach for the High Schools failures,but why do you care anyway? I think your stinky shoes were filled pretty good by Fairviews MS Coach, he is doing awesome..... Dont hate....you lose we win...

Yes I am with you......right on.I am a Coach jones advocate and the sorry powers that be ( NASH and his puppets) railroaded Coach Jones and Britt . These two coaches stood for what was right,not what some parents want. The poor kids work hard,but it tears a team apart when you have "special" circumstances where a certain player is allowed to do the things he has done and still be allowed to be on the team. The freshman is doing great and I hope he stays there for the future of the program. I feel an example should have been set,I would not succomb to buttkissers and parents that try to intimidate with threats,everything should be earned........Period, but Im not coaching so I will sit back and support the kids.

Good luck East, I hope things will come together for the Eagles. I will be there cheering for the Eagles to get the win.

I wish the Eagles well........this is going to be interesteing. My opinion on the future of this program will be determined Friday. Im sure many people will be doing the same as well.

lol.....I love that description. I am laughing so hard my stomach hurts. It is 100% true, I liked the first Football Coach very much and hated to see him go. My first love is with baseball and East Hickman had sometyhing special with Coach Britt,but the wizard of oz hid behind his curtain and had is puppets do his evil deed. Both are doing good in other places and that makes me happy for them. One puzzling thing, the first baseball Coach was protected all year after complaints started coming in at the beginning of the School year, it fell on deaf ears, now here he is on Tenn sex offender registry , turns out all those complaining parents and staff members were telling the truth,but it was managed to be kept quiet for the most part.

Maybe you can come fix the problem since you have all the information and know what needs to be done. You should bring your vast knowledge of the game to Centerville and bow in front of the great Doctor ( Dictator ), maybe he shall grant you passage into the world of East hickman High School Football.

I think East has a long way to go. after the antics of the last game against Loretto I dont see a win this year,( Qback quitting the team in the middle of the game). There are some very good kids on the team but a few bad apples rots the batch. One thing is comical in Fairview, before last year when Coach came from the Middle School all these big mouth jealous experts were on here bashing him and expressing thier vast knowledge of what it takes to be a High School coach and how it is sooooo different in High School. Well it looks like he is doing a pretty good job so far.Well........no, he is doing a excellent job so far. Just think, had our East Hickman Middle School Coach been chosen, East might be enjoying the sweet taste of victory as well......

Yea they did not play well, but i must say Perry county is awesome. they got it all, , size, speed , defense and offense. they will go far. Loretto should fall to East especially coming here to East. East 14 - loretto -0

Last Year East Hickman put it on Loretto pretty good,....but East also beat Perry County last year, Friday Loretto comes to East, Lets have some predictions for this game.Hopefully East will rebound from that royal pounding they took from Perry County,lots of things to be fixed on offense and defense in just a few days.

Well East got it handed to them tonight. Perry county is the real deal. I was very very impressed with the speed and hitting power Perry county was delivering.Perry county has too much talent.I think this is the team Perry county has been waiting for.........for a long time. Hats off to them hope they go far in the Playoffs. The only thing I can think of that was not too smart on Perry County Coach was leaving in his 2 studs risking a injury, I would hate to see such fine talent risk getting a season ending injury trying to run up the score. But that CCCCCoach wanted tttto run it up on East since he didnt get the job.

Trust me , he would be long gone if it was my choice.

Hickman is in trouble this year, they have a good young group but it is going to take a few years to get back in the mix.

We will find out tommorrow night. Last year Perry county thought it was going to be an easy win.. but they went back down highway 100 losers. This year East goes to Linden, Perry County is returning a very good Quarterback who took the game over last year by himself, he was the only threat i seen, the reciever was pretty good also. If east can keep him contained East will win,if thier defensive scheme falls apart it will be a long night for my beloved Eagles. I assure you they are gonna put up some points. Lots of returning starters for East Hickman and they looked pretty good against Stewart county,East has a few Freshmen that are going to Suprise you, but Stewart county looked horrible comaperd to 2 years ago. They are going to be a big boost for the High School program, The High School is already pretty good. This young group will ensure a strong future for the Lady Eagles. I believe that pitcher #00 can step right on the High School field today and have success. Something good to look forward too for East!.

I too do not know what this fascination with this freshman is. Its not my team, All we can do is support our team and move on. I think removing the "troublemaker" was a great move. The team has dwindled to about half of what they started with. I would like to hopefully see a upswing after this. But tonight is another round with Spring Hill, If we can just compete for awhile I will be tickled. My hats off to the players that have stuck it out thru all this and continued to be upbeat and positive.

East Hickman will play a Double header today starting at 4:30. We had our field tarped and it still was to wet. I doubt very many games were played. East Eagle mom ...just support your team and support the Coach, dont blame the loss's on our Coach. Poor effort and not making routiene plays is what hurt the Eagles. When you cannot make simple routiene plays, the team will suffer. I am confident they will get it together, the Coach is a nice guy who is doing what he can with what little he has. As far as the problem Junior, I agree something needs to be done, but that is not for the parents to decide,leave it to the Coaches,and bashing them does not help. thier in good hands. East got it handed to them tonight 17-3 . I hate to say it, but it was flat out embarrasing, . I dont even want to begin where the mistakes were made, but they were plenty. Basic fundamental baseball was lacking, pitching, poor effort and making routiene plays was absent with our team tonight. All we can do is support our team and hope this has woke some people up. It is disheartening to wait all these years for what should be our seniors shining moment, to watch them go out like this. East is in a big hole and its going to take some soul searching to get out of it.I truly hope things turn around, but what I seen tonight, East will be lucky to win one game.

I dont understand why they cancelled the game, the field in HC was fine.I have my suspicions though. A double header would make sense, gate money ???? who cares...There will be just as many HC fans as East, (same county, 15 miles away) I would vote let HC keep all the gate money outside of umpire fees if thats the case .Or play Wednesday. Since it is spring break for HC County school systems and I know several people planned the spring break around the scheduled games( including our family), many familys have plans the rest of the week on both teams. I heard that HC wants to play Friday, but that just wont work for us, hopefully our coach will give him some dates that work for all, later in the season. If not East will be down several starters. My son Graduates bootcamp Friday from the Coast Guard in New Jersey, no way are we missing that to play LUDAWG and company. I hope our Coach gets it all worked out.

This is definetly East /Hickman biggest rivalry game. These 2 games will tell how the year will play out, I hope they can get it together. East pitching is the big question, I think if Coach Spatz mixes things up pitching wise East may be able to pull it out, hopefully those temper tantrums will be over so the team can stay focused and confident. The freshman is impressive so far, and some hitters have stepped up that have suprised me. Lets hope for a fun season "drama free" .
