When the decision was made Ooltewah's feelings were not a high priority. The Coaches are very friendly, I am sure Norma understands.

Ooltewah gave Walker all they could handle last night. Lady Mustangs were losing 2-1 to start 7th inning but ended up winning 7-2 at Ooltewah. Walker Valley will not be playing in the Ooltewah Tournament this year. The team only has 14 players and atleast 4 are battling injuries. The coach and parents thought it would be better to take a break before continuing the second part of district play. Good luck to all the other teams!!!

Actually, it was the worst defensive game of the year for Walker Valley. Soddy played good and hit the ball but Walker had 7 errors and the paper said none of the runs were earned, (I thought 2 were). Walker just looks a little tired.

This weekend the best were Sidney Hooper and the Ravenwood. This week or next weekend....who knows?

I know Walker Valley is going to be at Ooltewah tournament this coming weekend. Who else is going to be there?

I think I will leave the names out. I have a daughter too. (none pitching daughter). Everyone can go to the team schedules and scoreboards here and see the wins & loses and read the articles on the teams. And most also have gamechanger and you can see every pitch. All I am saying is I didnt get some of the picks.

I took a quick look at the team and pitcher stats of SOME of the girls mentioned and I don't get some of these picks.

Walker Valley beat Meigs 9-2. 4 homeruns for Walker. Ooltewah over Bradley but I don't know score.

Tonights games that I know of. Cleveland goes to Soddy. Ooltewah at Bradley ( Bradley won last time). Walker Valley at Meigs ( Walker won earlier meeting).GPs vs. Baylor.

Very tight at the top. One pitch left fat changes the game. Walker Valley goes to Franklin/Sonic Tournament this weekend. Where is everyone else going?

It's hard to pick a top 5 much less a top ten right now. Walker Valley run ruled Ooltewah 11-0 & Bradley beat Rhea County 9-5. Wow!

Who is expected to be at ER Playday this Saturday if the blizzard holds off? Walker Valley will be there, thats the only team I know of.

I think they are ONE of the teams to beat in AAA, but we have heard this story from this same person for atleast 2 years. Personally I think last seasons team had more talent.

I hope all you softball fans have had a chance to see Kentucky play. Skeeter is doing great. I think she pitched her 3rd winning game yesterday. Great to see all the Chattanooga girls as well as the rest of the state doing so good. Good luck to all the girls this season.

- Baylor - Good team, solid bats, pitching just ok. - Walker Valley - Good pitching Senior, solid bats 1 through 4, not deep, not enough girls play travel ball. - GPS - Ok pitching, good bats, cant use the we are young excuse anymore. Looking for them to play Baylor tougher. - Rhea - decent pitching Senior, decent bats, they play good as a team. - Soddy & Ooltewah - toss up, both lost starting pitchers and strong hitting. Ooltewah has Hicks that throws hard and Soddy has Tori that is solid but hittable. Soddy won a third of their games last year by 2 runs or less. Tells me how important Skeeter was to them. Will Ooltewah decide to move Chernack to catch from short now that Abbys not behind the plate? - Coffee seems strong to me. What about Hixon, East Hamilton and Grace. Did they lose many seniors? what are we to expect out of them this season?

hahahaha, The first time they meet I believe will be in the Walker Valley JV Tournament. Should be fun but no contest.
