The TSSAA is great at making poor decisions. Just like right now, you have the Gordonsville/Univ School JC game suspended, when last night you called the Riverside/Forrest game official, even after the field was deemed ready to play, with Forrest up 1-0.
So what is the plan on Gordonsville game? Any update

You are correct on all your points...Hunter is a phenomenal defender that pretty much locked down reigning & future Mr. Basketball.

Kinda the pot calling the kettle black isn't it? Clarkrange girls basketball has people moving in from everywhere. Agreed it is an unfair advantage but the shiney new school will attract a few just like a shiney diamond will attract some women. To each his own. I wouldnt want that player or woman! Just work harder!Got smoked by Putnam /overton Co allstars last night. Would be nice for small town single A schools to use their hometown boys instead of transfers!

When a team brings in their reserves at the end of the game, don't press with your starters. It is a lack of class & may be a the reason the program is struggling to rebuild. Let the young ones get a few trips down the floor.

Good point. Don't want to take away from a great game played by both. Good luck to both and hope they meet again.LA's defense was very good, so I could see putting her confidence in it. With Levy out, the chances for no or bad shot were maybe better than UHS getting a good look. It worked at the end of regulation with Levy in the game.

You are surely right my friend. I just couldn't allow them to hold without their best ball handler. Not knocking Leslie, she has done a great job over the years & I respect her. Just for conversation, could you sit and allow a team that shoots as well as Upperman spread the floor?There is more to them as a team. When she has an off night there is always someone that steps up. I have watched the box scores all season. The main scorers will be back next year.

If they win region? There chances are good. If LA makes it to the regional final, it will be hard to beat them a 4th time. I wouldn't call 7 points a cake walk. If they don't win region? Their chances of going to state are slim to none!Cake walk for Upperman to state .in my opinion .

This is a little different than your comment of no one else on Uppermans level. I would think a team on a higher level than the rest, would have no problem home or the road. This LA team has lacked the fire of teams past. Nothing like the bees coming to town to get that fire going. Time will tell.Upperman better on paper and players . Never easy at Livingston .

No one in this district is good enough to run away with it. Proven when one of the 1st place teams throws up a prayer with 2 seconds left to beat a last place team. I believe SC may be the most balanced team. All will have more losses before district is over. Top 4 is wide open. Districts this year will be the funnest tourney we have had in a long time.

Is this based on the thumping/trip to the woodshed that Pickett put on LA? Pickett handled JC pretty well that beat UHS also. Baylor beat UHS then turned around & lost to LA. I agree the bees are favored but to say no one else is on the same level is ridiculous. PC would also thump Upperman. I will say if this LA team has pride in tradition like teams from LA'S past, they will bounce back after an embarrassing beating on their own home crt. My bet is they do!Livingston gets thumped by Pickett Co . Upperman big favorite in district . Nobody else on their level . Great chance to go to the state .

You do alot of trolling these threads. I would think your vast knowledge would help your team bring home some gold balls. Putting down other teams doesn't fill that empty trophy case. Upper Cumberland does well with what they have and don't really need the "real" teams to approve.I have watched High School Games From New York to California...Tacoma to Texas...Fresno to Florida... Not Kidding...Played in College...Officiated High School and College for 11 years...Worked Multiple National Level Camps across the U.S..... I have a pretty good idea of what GOOD BASKETBALL looks like...Happy New Year

Lol, pretty ugly. WC may be better than I thought but LA isn't much of a test. I like those boys & have always supported the program but the boys in Overton Co are all about football now. That is their passion and it shows when you get against players who are passionate about basketball. We have been trending that way the last 3 or 4 years. WC will be fine in middle tenn and maybe even against some teams out east. Dont think their style of play will do well against the West TN teams. (Which are the best in AAA year in and year out)well what did you think ole kodger?

Quiet frankley, you can't compete with the good AAA teams. So enjoy the good record while it last. I hope the WC boys have the same attitude you have displayed on this thread. If so, you might get upset. LA is down but are getting better & will scrap. Any team that lives by the 3 dies by the 3. LA won't beat anyone on 3s but you might not be making yours. PC on the other hand, can shoot with anyone. Good luck to all.Just tired of single 1 and double teams . Like to play some good triple a teams . Think it would help us later on .

Bad enough that a team gets to host their own state tournament but they shouldn't have walk up music & strikeout sound effects unless they do it for all the teams..Should be ran as a neutral site.
