Yes sir! Its all about matchups and LA doesn't matchup very well with CC, so CC has the edge this year. Both are very good teams. Hopefully they can matchup with Chatt teams!

They did! Eldridge controlled the inside had 20pts/20rebound several blocks. LA guards put alot of pressure on BC in the 1st have, they could barley get the ball across half crt. LA had 20 walks called for some reason, they need to clean that up & take care of buiss.

As a complete outsider that never attended Creekwood or CPA I feel confident in saying that CPA has the best coaching staff in Tennessee. The staff showcases the players at the national level and therefore the program receives national accolades. If families are moving to the Nashville area and have a child that is a good player they seek out the best available program. That program could be a public school program or a private school program. For those that are asking for all public & private schools to be in different classifications I ask the question; when public & private school graduates go to college do they attend different colleges or are they mixed together? When they enter the job market will the public school graduates have to compete for jobs against the private school graduates or just public school graduates? IMO, all public & private schools should compete against each other if for no other reason than to show everyone that at it's core it is just kids playing basketball.

You miss the point that upsets most people. All of what you said in the beginning is true & kudos to those parents for having their children's best interest in mind. The fact that they can live somewhere else & play at this school stacks the deck in a private school's favor. All open zoned, magnet, & private schools should be separate from public schools. Problem solved! Your comparison of this & real life is a joke.

LA's 5 starters have played in 3 sectionals & 2 state appearances & know what to expect. But 1st things 1st, BC will be the only focus for Miller & the Wildcats! LA by 15

Good example set! But they have to be consistent in their enforcement for it to work. If they treat this like they have on the fighting rule (suspending some teams but not others) than it is for nothing.

Wouldn't supprise me a bit if SC pulls an upset. LA has been to the region championship the last 7 years (winning 6 of them). Every streak will be broken but not this year. Bledsoe isn't on the same level as CC & LA so no toss up against either. LA blew BC out last year & returned 4 of 5 starters. CC & LA will have round 3. LA wins region!

May not be the reason but welcome to 8AA, a coach is crazy to want to coach in this district! Alot of ups & downs & never a night off.

What would've sufficed for you regarding last years CC team since they "didn't get it done in the tourney"? Lost to eventual State Tourney Upperman team if memory serves correctly

Your right good point, but with them struggling with SC they still have to prove they can get it done in post season. SC has improved alot but both games CC has played since the LA game has been close against weaker teams. Makes me think CC had a good night & caught LA on a bad night. I said earlier that CC was the better team but now Im not convinced. LA by 10+

CC has proven to have a really good team. They handed LA their only loss this year during regulation play (convincingly). But they also had a really good team last year & didn't get it done in the tourney. I have to go with LA considering it is tourney time & (as our girls found out) its hard to beat a good team 3 times in a row. We will see if CC can get it done & live up to the hype! I do believe the winner of this game wins region too.

Trust me , I have nothing invested ,but watching this kid move is special, if I were coach, he would be getting more pt.. At point guard regardless if he is a freshman.. Just saying.. Have him face guard #5 for cannon.. And shut him down..

I would like to see Hayes get more minutes too. He is fun to watch & can really put pressure on the ball. Would like to see he & Crowder switching out every 3 min & pressuring the ball constantly. The other team's point guard would be a non-factor.

1st time I had a chance to watch Clay Co this Year. I had said on another thread that Henderson (WC) and Eldridge (LA) were the best two players in the area. After seeing Key, he may just be the best.

Great call by co coach of the year McWilliams. Holding for last shot while loosing by one lol! CM upsetting UHS and sending them to the losers bracket and more importantly, on the road for 1st round of region!
