  1. I'm surprised not one West Tn school in 1A 2A 3A or 4A claimed a gold ball.
  2. Congrats Greeneville. Did not expect them to beat South Side like that.
  3. So far the most impressive team I've seen thus far is East Nashville. Bolivar made a nice run against Tyner but the lack of size hurt them. Greeneville's team seems to be on a mission. Milan is definitely the surprise team of the tournament. Middleton my Class A pick didn't make it and Peabody has to be the most infamous or controversial team in the tournament with all the "stuff" going around the program, yet they still have a chance to win a state title. I think I'll go with Clay Co. to win the Class A title. I still have Bartlett as the winner of 4A.
  4. Definitely surprised that Middleton lost at home. So now in 1A I have Clay Co with Peabody my second choice. 2A East Nashville; another surprise is that Douglass lost at home; and again, Bolivar is sneaky good. 3A (I think is the toughest class) Jackson Southside (my favorite) or Greeneville 4A Bartlett
  5. Agreed!? 3A is a tough class and whoever wins will definitely earned it!
  6. It would definitely be a good look for the city if they both could make.
  7. I must admit very surprised by NS upset victory over SS but anything can happen during tournament time. It's possible that both teams from Jackson, TN will make it to the Boro!
  8. Just read an article from the Jackson Sun that states that Jason Hunt of Trenton Peabody is no longer with team. How will that affect Trenton's chances of advancing in the tournament? https://www.jacksonsun.com/story/sports/high-school/2022/03/02/peabody-leading-scorer-jason-hunt-out-for-season/6911531001/
  9. I went to see Douglass last night and they really look like legit contenders for the 2A title.
  10. Too funny! I totally slept on Greenville and did realize that has so much coming back but South Side is a very talented team and should make for good championship game; I just hope they don't have to meet before that.
  11. I must admit; they have been very entertaining! If both teams meet in the championship game again, wow what matchup! But like WestTNHoopFan said "there's lot of hoops left to play for both teams."
  12. Solid list; I have 1A Middleton with Peabody nipping at their heels 2A East Nashville, Bolivar would be my sleeper team 3A Jackson South Side 4 Bartlett
  13. Who's your favorite in to win the boys 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A?
  14. I was surprised by the margin of victory not that Middleton won; I felt that either team could would that game.
  15. Who y'all got? For me its a pick'em game. Would not be surprised at who wins; I think they should be evenly matched. I feel that it should be a close game.
  16. I thought Haywood was better; didn’t know that they had players missing. That explains a lot. Bolivar’s guard play is tough but they always have solid players coming from its feeder schools.
  17. You think they'll make another run to the state tournament with their new coach?
  18. BCHS boys basketball team looked fast, athletic, and shot the ball well against Haywood last night.
  19. What's going on with the largest school in Madison County that a competitive basketball team can't take the floor every night. (Boys team) Football team seems to have great season every year. Is it the lack of talent or is it coaching?
  20. Truly unfortunate but I can't say that I'm surprised! I've seen what I considered high school age kids playing in middle school in Memphis. So it starts early (the cheating)
  21. I think Bolivar will by four 60-56 win but would not be surprised if Liberty won.
